Per David Ubben's twitter:

Does Jarrett Guarantano give Tennessee the best chance to win: "Absolutely. If I didn't think so, I wouldn't play him. He didn't miss two field goals. He didn't blow a coverage," Pruitt said.

He didn’t mention the 100 yard pick six

Would have loved if that reporter had followed that up with "but did he throw a pick 6?"

I’m sure that quote will play well in the locker room.

You have to remember that Pruitt is the ticket to wresting control of the program from the Haslams.

That’s more important than winning.

If you listened to the call of the game, the announcers didn't blame JG for the throw.

And honestly, he does give you the best chance to win. Do you think a coach would play him if he didn't?

Being a fired coach is the best job in America. Who doesn't like to be paid millions of dollars to sit at home and do nothing?

You lost me at David Ubben. Since when has be been covering the SEC? He knows nothing about football, that is why he was covering the BDF.

(although I hope that was an accurate quote and all of the players and money people at UT have seen it.)
