Also, LSU lost to Mizzou at -14.5
And you might have been at -16 this week, but guess what? You bitched out. Why is there any indication the spread will be the same if/when we do play?

Agree, like Reb said earlier, A&M would have to turn the ball over (probably at a rate of 3/1) for Ole Miss to win that game.
I just want to understand why he doesn’t want to play

I may be completely wrong but they may wait to decide schedule based on this coming weekend. If LSU were yo lose to Arkansas they may decide to leave LSU OM intact and Bama just doesn’t get to play LSU. I may be wrong just my thoughts.

That means that Ole Miss is going to throw for lots and lots of yards. Which is the point we've been making.
They might, but Florida has a significantly superior passing efficiency score and didn’t put up some sort of record day. Trask threw for below his season average in yards in fact.
I’m not saying Ole Miss won’t put up 450 yards, that’s almost a given based on how they play. I’m saying the game will still probably be over by the start of the 4th quarter based on macro trends in games like this.

LSU is terrible, weren’t in the top 10 and the game was in October. Relevance?

If things play out to statistical form, A&M will be either 7-1 or 8-1 when the game is played and OM will be 4-5. Why would the expects outcome be different? It would still be a 5 loss team on the road against a top 5 team. History says your odds of keeping it close are remote.

Ok pal. Maybe next year we will have a chance

You actually think we are going to lose to LSU? Lol ok. This conversation is going nowhere

Otherwise A&M is running the ball for 8 YPP and scoring TDs on 8 or 9 different 8 play, 75 yard drives.
Given how plodding our pace is, if this happened OM would only have the ball for 15-18 minutes and likely be unable to put up gaudy numbers simply due to lack of opportunity.

Every offense that plays Ole Miss is also unstoppable

It ain't gonna be plodding against Ole Miss - they don't allow teams to be plodding

I think a team with a defense as bad as yours can lose to anyone, as evidenced by having to come from behind in the 4th quarter at home to beat the 12th or 13th best team in the SEC. Combined with the game being at LSU, a place OM has won once in the last 20 years, and I think it’s absurd you believe you can’t lose that game. I fully expect Ole Miss/State to come down to the end as well because, again, you can’t stop ANYBODY.

The State offense vs the Ole Miss defense is quite honestly the most entertaining and intriguing matchup of the season

The a&m game
Didn't see that was postponed today. How is that game being postponed due to A&M players having COVID LSU's fault? We're entering a territory where every program is being affected by COVID protocols, resulting in multiple games for some schools being affected. I expect things only will get worse based on what we've seen the past several weeks and these postponements are getting increasingly more prevalent. Not sure how or why you would place the blame on any one school at this point. It's a complete shitshow at this point, and I would honestly be amazed if we get through the rest of the season at the rate we're at right now.

Ole Miss can lose to anyone on their schedule with their defense. The LSU/OM game may not have a single punt from either team. It may come down to one turnover. To think Ole Miss can't lose to LSU when every game they've played (sans vanderbilt) has come down to the wire and when they're allowing 40 points a game is a little ignorant IMO. It's not a crazy thought that LSU may beat Ole Miss. Both teams can score and neither team can stop anyone.

Here’s the thing though. As atrocious as our defense is they sometimes will get a stop. We got 3 to close out the game Saturday
LSU has quit
I’ll take those odds. Keep in kind LSU’s defense is nearly as bad as ours

I’m not saying we can’t lose, and I agree with your post
I’m laughing at him because he’s implying we ARE going to lose, which is ridiculous
