Also are we going to just ignore the buttfricking Alabama gave you and the fact you beat the worst team I’ve ever seen by 3 points?

You know who hasn’t gotten buttfricked this year? Ole Miss. we lost to Arkansas by 12 points and threw 6 interceptions

A&M has played 6 games - 3 against Alabama, Florida and Arkansas, teams who have a semblance of an idea of how to pass, and 3 against Vanderbilt, MSU and South Carolina.

Against Alabama, Florida, Arkansas

66/91 (73%)
986 yards (329 YPG)
10.84 YPA
11 TD / 1 INT

40.3 Points Per Game (52, 38, 31)

I mean we are well aware of our shortcomings but A&M fans pretending they are some sort of juggernaut is a joke

Best bet for Ole Miss is to play LSU and Not Texas A&M! Easier for Ole Miss to beat!

frick sounds like they need to reschedule the rest of the year completely for everybody.

Will be curious to see Kiffin’s presser today.

We going to get stuck with 9 games so Bama and Florida can get to 10.

This is all LSU fault

What game would Ole Miss get screwed out of? Sounds like the LSU/OM game will be rescheduled to 12/19, the Alabama/LSU game rescheduled to 12/05, and the Alabama/Arkansas game rescheduled to 12/12. All the other postponed games from last weekend would, I assume, be played on 12/12.

Well, you did in fact commit 7 turnovers in that game. It actually happened

You also had two turnovers, three punts, one turnover on downs and completed 56% of your passes against Auburn. You're always going to amass >400 yards simply based on how many plays you run and the fact that Kiffin goes for it on 4th down so much. 444 yards on 80 plays isnt particularly impressive.

You also didn't do much at all for 3 quarters against Kentucky. 60% of your yards and half your points came in the 4th quarter and OT.

An offense that has struggled to varying degrees in 11 of their 28 quarters can hardly be considered "unstoppable", and A&M is the best defense you will have faced statistically.

Alabama and Florida have torched everyone, and represent such dramatic outliers that you almost have to throw them out when determining who has a decentr defense.

Arkansas had 270 total yards and were down 42-17 5 minutes into the 4th quarter, after which point A&M just fell on the ball, never attempted another pass on defense and play deep cover 4 prevent. Our run defense wasn't as on point as it usually is, but Arkansas didn't do anything of note when the game was competitive. We packed it in and gave up a couple long garbage TD drive with our backups in.

The fact that A&M is #1 in the SEC despite playing Florida AND Bama already is a testament to their defense at least being respectable. And those "inept" offenses you listed have torched some of the lesser defenses. The USC team that we just held to 3 points and 150 yards had their best offensive day ever against Ole Miss. I don't care how bad the OM defense is, letting that offense do that is shameful.

Did you not read my first post stating you should win, but YOU could have a turnover bedshitting. It happens. That is why we play. We won’t need 7 though to finish you paper tigers off

The fact that you are actually using a game we had 444 yards as a talking point against our offense speaks for itself for how incredible our offense is. Has an off game, gets 444 yards.

What the frick is the point here? Does it only matter if it’s spread evenly? Yards redistribution socialism?

A good defense does not exist. We can clown you just as hard as Alabama did. We are statistically neck and neck with them.

Get fricked dude. You jumped on the laugh at scared LSU bandwagon just as hard as anyone else last week and now you’re coping with nonsense. I mean your original question was why would we want to play y’all when we would just get buttfricked. I’ve provided numerous posts but more importantly I’ve displayed I want to play y’all because I’m not afraid of your paper tiger team. Seems the real question is do YOU want to play this game? Because to be honest you just sound scared

Texas A&M has a very solid run defense. Texas A&M has a bad pass defense. Ole Miss is a very good pass offense that will exploit every matchup advantage available - and there will be a ton of them against your secondary.

The only 2 elite pass offenses Texas A&M has played, Alabama and Florida, went bezerker on A&M. Ole Miss is going to do similar things.

Ole Miss' defense is the worst unit in the country (well, maybe other than LSU's defense). They aren't arguing that fact.

A&M is gonna run for 500 yards and probably win 49-37 or something, but if you are expecting to slow Ole Miss down you are not going to have a very good time.

I mean it’s as simple as that. I’ve said twice already they should win but weird things happen.

And are we just going to pretend the entire year has been absolutely bizarre and unpredictable? I mean the “upsets” are so frequent they aren’t even shocking anymore.

We’re 31st in passing defense efficiency, and 19th in corrected defensive pass efficiency (adjusted for level of competition).

At worst we’re an average passing defense.

Ole Miss over A&M would be the biggest upset of the season thus far, given the gap between the two teams and the point we are at in the season. PFF has the game at A&M -16, and top 10 teams in the AP poll from November onward have lost when -14 or more on PFF only 4 times in the last 8 years.

A&M basically allows opponents to perform to their average performance. They shut down bad pass offenses and let good pass offenses throw for lots of yards.

That means that Ole Miss is going to throw for lots and lots of yards. Which is the point we've been making.

We’ve improved a bit since then

Ole Miss OTOH is the exact same team they were when they kicked off the season against Florida. Their offensive efficiency has been consistent, and their defensive efficiency has actually gotten a bit worse.

You can’t beat top 10 teams, especially on the road, with a defense THAT bad. History tells us you will usually lose in that scenario by 3+ scores. Offensive efficiency generally doesn’t travel well in college football, and even at home against UF and Bama there was never any real belief OM could win because of their defense.

Agree, like Reb said earlier, A&M would have to turn the ball over (probably at a rate of 3/1) for Ole Miss to win that game.

Otherwise A&M is running the ball for 8 YPP and scoring TDs on 8 or 9 different 8 play, 75 yard drives.
