I’m at the point where anything other than freeze or chadwell in doing my research and watching them would be kinda disappointing

I don't know man, I disagree with that. CWM did his best in my opinion. His best wasn't good enough, for sure. Thing is, he knew this was his second and probably last chance at being a HC at a P5 school, so to say he never cared is puzzling. I don't think it was about his caring so much about his inability to manage a good staff.
Look at DABO. He is not that great of a coach, per se, when it comes to X's and O's, but the guy is one HELL of a manager, and modeled his career after Bear Bryant... (surround yourself with coaches that are smarter than you). Dabo looks like a genius. He was never a coordinator, hell, he was a wide receivers coach and stepped right into the HC job. He made smart hires. This what CWM never learned. But again, I wouldn't go so far as to say he never cared. Just my two cents.

I agree. I think it may end up being Beamer. He should assemble a good staff.

I hope not. I don't think Beamer is ready to be a HC in the SEC. I really want Freeze or Napier, they keep Bobo on; he hasn't done a bad job, not his fault the talent on the team cant catch a damn ball...but his play calling has been a huge breath of fresh air this year, compared to the last 4 years....lots of slants, wheel routes etc. Not a fan of his keeping Hill in the game, but maybe that wasn't his call... Keep Shaw on as QB coach, and you secure Gunner. Then, Freeze or Napier goes out and makes a splash hire at Def Coord. Things could turn around quickly.

The next HC needs to be someone proven at HC for a smaller school, even if he stays only for 4 or 5 years and moves on. The next HC needs to build a stable program, hire some good assistants, and win 8-9 games a year after year 2. The job will then look really good for the next HC who wants to stay for the rest of his career.

I don’t see the hype in Napier as much as others do. Yes, he’s a good coach, I just think that a school like ours needs something extremely innovative on offense, a special preparation that nobody else needs. Not triple option, but a different offense that nobody else runs. That’s why I’m excited about Chadwell. It’s a very unique and different offense and would fit our skill set well. Ryan seems to be more mobile than last year, we have Doty, and if we keep Connor Shaw on staff with QB’s (which could happen and would be a massive win for us) gunner Stockton in a couple years.

I think Beamer is doing great at Oklahoma and should stay there. Shawn Elliott 'loves Carolina and coached at USC' too. that's pretty much Beamer's platform. naming Beamer as HC would be almost as wreckless as naming Richard Bell HC after Carlen was overthrown.

No. We need a coach that has a proven record of evaluating and developing talent. We need Freeze. Say what you want about the man's personal business but he can coach

The best coach for you guys is still Jim Mcelwain, I wanted him at Mizzou but he could elevate either program from where it is now... As long as you can tolerate some shenanigans.

Lol no kidding.
Guy has SC connections. Hates Dabo but coached under him. Seems to actually want to coach here. Has successful Group of 5 HC experience.
