re: Dear Coach Beamer

Oh boo hoo whatever will we do a couple players got called out and got mad and refused to play in a bowl game nobody wanted to be at anyway. So basically yes he held some players accountable and they are just being butthurt babies.

Why cause he holds people accountable? I don’t think he is going anywhere but we will hopefully find out soon.

The offensive line was horrible against any team with a pulse on defense. Wolford was the main one that needed to go. I have never been impressed with him. Him or Bobby Bentley both are overrated.
Say what you want about Bobo but he improved the offense with no offensive line and no receivers. He can recruit the state of Georgia well too. Have they made an announcement yet on Bobo?

True but I think hill is probably on the bench for the rest of the year after last night.

That may have been the same guy that told me he was going to drive down from Charlotte and whip my arse. He never showed up. All this cause I told him Carolina should have considered David cutcliffe as coach last time around. I hate cocky talk.

Neal Brown would be great I agree. He has cleaned up the mess that holgerson left.

I agree. I think it may end up being Beamer. He should assemble a good staff.

I agree I was just saying if he did he probably saves his job.

If they win out he probably gets next year.

If they get blown out tonight he may be done. The fan support at least here in Columbia is the worst I have ever seen it. If they win tonight and look better the last few games then it’s probably 50/50. If hill plays bad tonight and they don’t make a change he is probably done as well.

I don’t know much about Napier but he seems to be someone that many fans think is a possibility. I have heard tony Elliott mentioned as well.

Not sure we will do much better. I mean Hugh freeze is the best option. Good coach great quarterback coach but I’m not sure Tanner would hire him cause he has some baggage. Same with the coastal Carolina coach. We will probably be stuck between hiring a Beamer or a Shawn Elliott or settle for another retread like Tom Herman or Mark richt. Getting rid of Muschamp is the easy part.
Many people think that it will take a Sam Pittman type to be our next coach. Again Hugh freeze in my opinion is the guy if Tanner would pull the trigger. We could probably get Hugh freeze.

I would be fine with Shane Beamer. He has worked all over the place and has the connections to put together a good staff. He can recruit too. Way better than Muschamp.
re: So whose our next coach going to be?

Let me also add that freeze is a coach we could actually land. We don’t always land who we go after. After spurrier left we went hard after Kirby smart but once that was not an option anymore it was basically between Muschamp and Rich Rod who apparently wanted ridiculously high money. It depends on the year who is available and what other programs are looking for a coach.

No I don’t care about ole miss had nothing to do with that but I bet you ole miss is kicking themselves for firing cutcliffe.

I was thinking Joe Brady would have been a good option if he had stayed at LSU. Now that he is back in the NFL probably not going to happen.
I do like Shawn Elliott but we can probably do better than that. Possibly Hugh Freeze. Other than doing some dumb stuff in his personal life I hear he can flat out coach. I wanted cutcliffe instead of Muschamp but he is probably too old now.

You might be right but we should at least talk to him. If not there are other options.

Yes. Meet with him and see where things stand. Offer him more money and a 6 year contract. As far as I know Hyman never even met with the guy. Too far up darrin horns arse!

We won’t be in the tournament this year. Need to bring Gregg Marshall home after this year!

I guess I will play along. Went to the navy after high school. Had terrible grades no college would touch me. Too many keg parties. Ended up moving back to SC and eventually went to Francis Marion graduated in 2004 MIS.
