Successful teams this season all have a couple of things.

1. Coaching continuity.

2. QB continuity.

Even many shite teams who have had that Continuity are surprising people.

Of the teams who have had turnover in both of those areas Georgia is doing the best.

Right now Kirby is digging Georgia out of a hole on the offensive side. It's not just QB; it's also hiring mistakes.

That's not going to be solved in one season - especially not this one. He's not in the hot seat. He's not lost. He's not blind. I think he corrected the hiring issue and attempted to correct the QB problem. Next year will be better.

Honestly, I think we've seen the low point (which ain't that low) and the program is on the mend.

I've been waiting a long long long time for you to post something I could consider upvoting. I'll think about it.

Program on the mend?

5th year as head coach....all coaching hires made by him....first year with all his recruits...botch d the fields vs fromm debacle.

I like Kirby, I do but I'm gonna be honest yesterday was a deflating loss...at no point did it look like we made changes to stop the florida offense. Also Kirby seems to once again be hitching his wagon to a dead beat qb because he is a 'hard worker's.

The qb situation we are in is sad and determental to us making any kind of natty run.

Also football is changing. Good offenses now rule the day and Kirby is a defense oriented coach. If he isn't careful and put priority on offense like Saban has done, he will be gone sooner rather then later

Lack of coaching continuity hurt last year and qb and coaching is a double whammy this year.

It takes time to out in a system and get the players to play in it fast.

We are never going to win an NC. We are a 10 win a year at best program that can compete for SEC championships every now and then. That’s all we will ever be.

Georgia's missing the ability to develop offensive players. We have recruited some of the best classes in the last 5 years including excellent QBs.

Here's a question for you, Jake Fromm started off being great, and then became...better than average. How does a player like Fromm degrade over time? He had no marked improvement from the time he started to the time he was drafted. We're basically playing talented HS athletes on offense and not improving them while they're here. Plain and simple.

Sure we had some bad luck with injuries, but the buck stops with CKS. You HAVE to develop the talent you have, and have a decent backup in the pipeline.

If we had an NFL draftable QB right now we wouldn’t be having this discussion. A Fromm at the helms this year, and we’re cooking in hot grease. The issue is 95% a QB issue

Execution. We missed a couple open receivers downfield that would have made it a 6 point game in the second half. The defense adjusted in the second half giving up only 2 FGs and we were still in the game.

**EDIT**
At the 8:10 mark in the 4th quarter, Mathis missed back to back opportunities for a long TD pass. The first miss was to Robertson on 2nd down. Then on 3rd down Kearis Jackson was wide open and Mathis didn't see him. That would have pulled us within 6 points with 8 minutes to play. Then Webb dropped a Pick 6

Georgia needs an entire offensive overhaul this spring, assuming there is a spring practice. If Monken is THE GUY then turn the offense over to him and get it coached-up. Change whatever needs to be changed. It is not just QB. I personally think the receiving corps is just average, when they have a good day.

Some serious coaching needs to be done between now and next Sept, again assuming we have a regular season next year.

This offense is just embarrassingly bad at the present time.

I'm starting to wonder if the tv show "A Series of Unfortunate Events " was written by a ga fan.

This! Show me a QB who can deadlift 315 with a accurate arm and I'll say we got ourselves a legitimate DT QB. Throw Mims and Jones on the Oline, with the offensive talent we have and I feel 2020 woes will be behind us.
