Villanova is a pretty big basketball school. Wright has it made there and there's really no reason for him to go anywhere unless a Duke, UNC, Kansas come calling. And I'm pretty sure other at least one school has sniffed around at his interest leaving Villanova in recent years. Forget who it was though. Maybe UCLA or Arizona?

And I'd argue that Virginia is in that same tier as Villanova in the basketball world - just below the tier of Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc.

nice seeing all the teams right behind us playing each other today. We can really make a move today in the standings, just need the W. Relevant games below:

Fla -4 (4-3) @ UGa (2-4) (1pm/ESPN2)
LSU (5-2) @ Kentucky -1.5 (3-3) (5pm/ESPN)
Miss St (4-3) @ #18 Alabama -9.5 (7-0) (5pm/SECN)
#19 Miz (3-2) @ #6 Tenn -7 (4-2) (7:30pm/SECN)

So pulling for UGa, Ken, Ala and Miz

If we exclude USC since they’ve played fewer games, if we win today, we’ll be guaranteed to have a 3 game lead on all but one team.

Has Alabama lost a game in conference this season against the point spread?
That may explain why we have one of the largest point spreads (14 points) against State this afternoon.

We would have to epically choke to lose the SEC, especially with our remaining schedule.

I bet Bama -10 but I don’t like that the line moved that way. Something is up.

Rat poison. But, I will say this... I think the swagger out team has in terms of confidence and trash talk gives us a chance. Basketball is more of a head game than football. Look at Petty for example. Dude looks like Kevin Durant pulling up the last few games. He’s super confident and now Oats says he may be the best shooter he’s coached. That little confidence changed his entire game on the court. He’s a cold blooded killer now out there

It opened at 14 and went straight to 12 1/2. It's now 9!
I wouldn't touch this game if I was playing with YOUR money.

We are due for a clunker. We played as good of game as you could ever play Tuesday. I think we win but I wouldn’t touch that line.

Is somebody hurt that we don’t know about? That’s a huge movement. I’m a little worried

MSU has some size inside, so I'm guessing with Bruner out people are throwing money on MSU. I'd guess there's some thought that we have to cool down at some point, so why not bank on that being the game after one of our best shooting performances of the year.

Yeah I'd actually be pleasantly surprised if we won this game. It's got all the makings of a letdown game aside from us being at home. But no crowd kind of negates that.

it should have likely never been 14 to begin with. The computer models had it about 10 I believe so not a big deal I don't think. the 18 point margins are confusing vegas.

As happy as we all are that we're playing well, I'm curious to see how the team responds to some adversity now that they're ranked and being talked about as contenders not just in the SEC but nationally.

Yes this is where we see if the team can handle success.

This team is rolling. I understand it will come to an end but I wouldn’t bet against them until it happens.

That's a great attitude to have. NBA guys will love that. He's still getting starting level minutes and points, but it's willing to put ego aside for his team, and be that spark plugs that keeps playing and shitting consistently during rotations.

Who doesn't love a 6th man on a great team, who could easily start on many average or good teams?
