I felt like this deserved its own thread. All tests normal. Seems like the prayers worked.

This is so great to hear! Most of these stories unfortunately never end up great in the end. I pray he makes a full recovery, regardless of what he wants to do in the future.

If you hit them right nerves can sort of go into shock. I had a back injury playing high school ball and for a couple of months I had NO strength in my legs. I could barely walk. Then it got better. Craziest thing. I was thinking I'd be crippled forever then stuff just started working again. The doctors just told me somethings that happens. This was in the late 80's so I'm sure medicine has advanced a great deal since then.
