Yes.

Burrow needed his legs to have success against UGA. As I said, he was the sole running game for 3 quarters for LSU and his highlight reel from the game is remarkable (and not just for his progressions, touch, and understanding of the offense)
You're assuming Mack the Knife can't run with the ball. However, he had many long or extended runs throughout his H.S. career. When he needs to pickup yds running, watch out! He's unstoppable in the sneak and a very nimble though tough ball carrier when called upon. I've been wondering why Sarkisian hasn't drawn up some run plays for him.

He was complaining about Scott's recruiting when the guys playing weren't Scott's recruits.
It's like he didnt approve of the hire and was immediately complaining about the position.

He's such a negative poster. Sheesh.

No offense, man, but I am one that thinks Alabama should win the game. But touting Mac Jones running ability is silly. So far this year he has run 6 times for 3 yards, and his longest run was for 5 yards indicating that his other runs were for losses.
HS running does not always equate to SEC running.
Our defense will have it's hands full, but it won't be with Mac Jones' running prowess.

Absolutely correct. If we have to rely on Mac running the ball to move the chains we are gonna get our asses kicked. He isn't a statue but he isn't a threat to run it either.
If Kirby plays man to man against our receivers then Mac will probably eat that up. If he plays zone then it will depend on the pass rush.
On the other side, if we can't stop Georgia from running the ball then we are in trouble. They will keep our offense on the sideline and kill us on play action.
Game should be a good one.

For Bama O vs UGA D, it comes down to Mac. Can UGA bring pressure to disrupt those comfortable pockets he has had all year? If so, how does it affect his accuracy and decision making? That will be the difference.
But, the game comes down to Bama D vs UGA O. UGA should want to control the ball to keep Bama O on the sideline. Trying to get into a shootout will wear out their D and cancel out the size/athleticism and experience they have on that side of the ball. Bama's D has to get off the field on 3rd downs. They are soft in the middle of the field and nd have to have shored that up this week. If not, Bama's O has to score A LOT.

In that case, I would expect a zone. Kirby will want to rush the passer.

I did not mean any disrespect to Jones. He has done an outstanding job for you guys, and seem to be a really good QB. I just didn't feel like he was a threat to run a whole lot.

I have heard this from your fans a lot this week, and it is what gives me a glimmer of hope. bennett attacks the middle of the field very well. His downfall, is he tends to take chances when he has a small window to throw in and make some questionable throws. He has gotten away with it with some fo the toher teams, but I'm not so sure it is a recipe for success against Alabama.
I am really excited about this game, though.

I didn't say he would run only that he is a deceptively nimble, agile though aggressive runner with the ball. I Question why Sark Vader doesn't draw up some run plays for the Mack Knife!

Bamas passing game will go blow for blow against the UGA defense. Both sides will win those battles. But I dont see Bama rolling in their ground game. Not this Saturday.
