On an unrelated note, we run the same offense as Ole Miss

...and Saban has had trouble for years defending a wide open tempo offense with a power running game.

Not saying we'll beat Alabama, not at all, but I think we have a good shot to put up a lot of points on them if our O comes like it did in the 2md half. Ole Miss is torching them. Black bears also look a lot more polished and probably have slightly better skill players overall.

I also did not know Lebby and Kendal Briles were in-laws.

I really want to see what we look like healthy.

Injuries have given some obvious studs the ability to play, such as Warren and T. Smith, but you're right, a loaded fully healthy squad could be scary.

It also seems like Briles adapted his tempo to game situation much better tonight and almost cut out the reverse type shite.

I just never want to see Hammonds on the field again. I also never want Franks off the field unless he's hurt... Especially on the goal line.

Was he hurt on the goal line? That’s what I couldn’t figure out. He landed on his hand on 1st down and then was nursing that wrist the next series.

He did look like his hoof was hurting.

I guess its technically not a hoof, but rather 2 toes

It’s the dedication to doing the research that matters most.

Well didn't Briles run Kiffins offense down at FIU?

Yes. He called the plays and co-mingled his Baylor offense with Kiffin’s offense. I’d guess Kiffin got his current tempo from his time with Briles.

If Pittman gets the OLine right Briles could look like a wizard with all these skill kids Morris brought in without a clue to put to use.

Kiffin's OC is Briles' brother-in-law

I'll be damned. I guess I can't say I didn't learn anything new today, thanks MoT

Maybe after the game Saturday Briles can get A copy of Kiffins Bama defensive call Cheat sheet from him?

Same as it's always been. Saban is playing situational ball. So if you get matchups you like put the hammer down and go for the throat don't let him sub out of it. Also you'll need to be able to throw the ball to outside targets for big gains consistently
