Statistically the worst. 6 of the starters have now played in the NFL, so were we just not talented or was coaching really that bad?

I'm going with coaching, it has sucked since Pittman left the first time.

I've personally said for years we aren't as bad as the performance and that's what has made it hard to watch. Keeping tight games and giving up in the 4th under Bielema. Or everything after the first 16 scripted plays under Chode went to shite.

Chode promised us Venables. He delivered a washed up chavis.

Not even sure you could call him washed up he was so bad.

There is a reason he's coaching at a middle school.

Just an absolutely absurd period of events for our program.

I didn't think the Pelphrey nightmare could be topped but we did that 7fold.

It's 100% coaching. We had better talent on 2017-19 than we have had on past teams that had winning records. Bert gave up and Chad was just in over his head from the start. I have no words for how bad Chavis was while here. Hell he made chards OC look good by comparison.

I knew it wasn't going to be good when he went pure Marco Rubio during his opening press conference. Just chugging that water.

I'm not saying that recruiting rankings are perfect but it's not like (outside of that year with chad where it all fell apart as we shifted to the left lane and hammered down.)we've dipped off from the norm for us in rankings.

we're never gonna be bama, but we can be top 4 in our division no problem historically speaking. all we gotta do is get back to beating down both the old and new mississippi as well as getting back to the annual aggie beatdown we used to deliver.

Morris took our HC job to get rich, and Chavis took the DC gig for one last pre-retirement payday. Different cast of characters, same story. Long and Bert both grifted the hell out us.

When people use you purely for a payday, you've hit rock bottom as a program.

The minute our PTB and dim bulb boosters stop allowing these chuds to bilk millions from our program is the minute we become respectable again. Hopefully that's happened with Pittman and Co...we shall see.

2018 LB corps had Greenlaw, Scoota and a freshman Bumper. Should have been one of our best LB groups ever. Too bad lazy arse Chavis was their coach.

Wasn't Olabu and Caleb Miller on the same squad?

With some Jerry Franklin in there?

We used to have some BAD dudes.

Maybe Caver and Bua in there too.

Bama is no different from any other school. Hire the wrong coach like Chad and see what happens.

What separates them from the rest of the SEC is the vast tradition that they have. A fan base that takes it so seriously that people are shot and killed and trees are poisoned.
