UGA to get "huge" fines for the crowd

When they panned the crowd to start the game it was clear that it was about 25% with all of the spacing. Everything they were showing after was the student section and they weren't even close to social distancing

My youngest son is playing on 2 baseball teams, my oldest on one team - one is playing flag football and I play on softball teams. The only positive covid test was a girl on our Softball team - she was a nurse.

When they did a sky shot there was nobody in the upper decks. Probably 25 pct capacity but everyone moved to the lower levels.

I have no idea how/why we'd get fined unless we were letting fans
enter without masks...which I highly doubt.There's also no specific rules for crowd size other than state guidelines.

I think it’s reckless in this day and age, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I enjoyed the broadcast so much more hearing some legit night game crowd noise. It’s been really hard to get into the return of sports for me and a big part of that are empty stadiums in the MLB and NFL

UGA didn't do anything wrong. I was there and it was very clear that it was at the capacity UGA said it would allow. In fact, it was actually less in reality as you could clearly see many of the 4-seat blocks that were set up were empty as I assume people couldn't sell them for enough or whatever. Teh student section was the only area where people were really packed in but it's been that way at literally every stadium I've seen shown so far this cfb season.
Furthermore this hack of an article is everything that's wrong with modern liberal journalism.
