State is 3-4 against LSU in the past 7 years and Ed Orgeron is your head coach. He could beat you again.

Not really. You can't include Miles in your argument. 2017 was a shitshow in the beginning of the season that saw LSU have almost no D-line depth. Orgeron was rebuilding from years of bad d-line recruiting and attrition under Miles.

Additionally, if you think LSU won't play better in the secondary next time, you would be sorely mistaken.

Saying Mike Leach won’t do it again is quite frankly stupid. I mean never? Ok bud. LSU May win next year and the year after. The chances of leach never beating them again is slim. Ed Orgeron has to have a perfect storm of great coordinators on both sides of the ball to have a great team. He currently has neither.

Dan and Mike are different

It was a good win for state, but I would be very surprised if Leach ever gets the better of LSU again. It took an almost perfect sequence of events for it to have happened last week.

It is what it is and they definitely deserved to win, but it was still a perfect storm against LSU.

What a retarded take this is.

State should have won by three scores. They played like shite, kept LSU in the game, gave away the momentum, snatched it back, and still dominated the game and won by double digits.

State had two freshmen, a sophomore whose never played significant snaps, and a walk on playing in the secondary.

Ive said for years that any SEC team smart enough to hire Leach wouldn't regret it. In one game he's had a bigger win than anything Tennessee has produced with Jeremy Pruitt

It took an "almost perfect sequence of events" for LSU to not get beat by 4 touchdowns.

Has any coach ever in the history of high level football not gone into a game with that mentality?

No it really didn’t, if anything it was the opposite. But that’s football and you did what you had to do to win the game with the situation that was at hand to you earned it

Except it did, If it wasn't for a lucky heave touchdown to Gilbert on a busted assignment, and a fantastic one handed grab, LSU loses by 3 touchdowns. See we can play that game too.

You forgot about the awful decision to throw that flat off a bad snap for a pick six.

You really just don’t know what you’re talking about, I assume both of you are in your early 20’s or younger based on your join dates.

I know y’all don’t get to beat your chests about much and I don’t have time to sit on here for an hour explaining to you in intricate detail why you’re wrong so I’ll let you have it. Have a good season and we’ll see you next year.

Before the last play of the game (MSU interception) we were down 4-1 in the turnover game.

How is that in any way a near-perfect sequence of events? We basically tried to gift wrap the game away in the 4th quarter with the last two turnovers.
