If the SEC allows this they had better not block a single fricking transfer again. He's not a grad transfer and it's to a division rival.

Sounds like theirs will be good too.

So the lesson to future transferrees is to whine like crazy and make a national stink and you will get your way.
Ncaa will love this in the future.

3 redshirt seniors is pretty amazing these days and all of 'em are talented.
and will get drafted.
Expirence is obviously a huge factor in
any OL success especially at Center and
OT.

That was the excuse he used. IMO, the real reason is that he and/or his parents wanted to see he and his brother play together in college.

I think so too I just hate the slimeball way that they went about it.

Not being funny if that's your thing, but how do you know what his dick looks like?

Because UGA has a history of having our legal team and liability insurance companies in the locker room?
The other players wouldn't care.
Same for coaches.
Any damages would be paid by insurance first and university second. No one involved with the program would be involved with the lawsuit or damages.

Maybe, but the timing of it all suggests the lawsuit had at least something to do with it. Otherwise why wait to file until he's transferring? It's just odd.

Filing the lawsuit days before the transfer gave Mays perfect cover to use the lawsuit as his reason to transfer. If his dad actually wanted to sue UGA, he would have done it immediately after the incident occurred.

He would have never transferred if we didn’t have a change in his position coach period. Regardless of wanting to play with his brother.

SEC clears him to play. This is a bad precedent

Well, the Vols are going to have a road grading OL now for sure. That's going to be a tough game even our our stout defense.

Supposedly it is “just for this year.” So we’ll see how and if they go back to status quo next year.

Jacob Eason and Luke Ford should file law suits among the many others that have had to sit out a year due to the transfer rule.
I don't care that Mays got the waiver but I have a major issue that others have sat a year out due to "rules being rules". Eason played in one game and sat the rest of the year before going as far west as possible only to have to sit out another year. Ford went home to be closer to a dying relative and was forced to sit a year. There is no consistency and the NCAA/ SEC decision makers should be held accountable. They are full of shite.
