Which Freshmen newcomers have a chance to standout this year?

Bama: Brian Branch, Bryce Young, and possibly Drew Sanders.

Burton and Carter have been the freshmen standing out the most for UGA.

How is he already 19 year old as a true freshman?

Gilbert has a shite QB. He will be held back in college because of QB play.

Same thing happened to OJ Howard, Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley.

He's a RS, but I'm looking forward to seeing Trey Sanders at RB.

Tank Bigsby is the obvious answer for Auburn, but a couple that could get some playing time and be solid contributors this season besides him:

Chris Thompson Jr - Safety
Brandon Frazier - TE (please god let us finally use one)

He turned 19 on July 25th. Maybe he started kindergarten a year late so he wouldn't be one of the youngest kids in his class?

Or maybe it had something to do with him moving from Pennsylvania to California when he was a kid?

I was 19 going into my freshman year of college. It was just the way my birthday fell where I could be in either grade and my dad wanted me to be older for my grade for sports reasons.

Tulu Griffin - small fast-twitch track guy that Leach always seems to have running in the slot. He made the 247Sports Preseason Freshman All-American Team.

Will Anderson has had the best camp of all the freshmen. Odd you left him out

Also a lot of kids with foreseeable sports talent are held back a year in youth to give an extra year of development. Pretty common practice
