Spurrier will always be Spurrier but that doesn't change the fact that he drove South Carolina into the ground and once he realized how bad it was said "frick it, I'm out" mid season.

At least Arkansas can suck for an entire season without giving up.

Spurrier is entertaining but he is ultimately a dirtbag. This is why people respect his mouth but don't respect his career.

He is the King POS, but everyone just passed it off as Steve being Steve. He is still trying to stay relevant, bless his heart.

He is just sour that Petrino owned his best teams at South Carolina.

Drove us into the ground from the heights that be built.

I swear Bama fans have this weird anti-Spurrier thing about them that no other SEC fanbase has. Not even UGA or UT.

Idk if it was all those matchups in the SECCG in the 90s or what.

Congrats for the stupidest comment of the day. Not only did he lead USCe to their first 11 win season ever, he did it 3 years in a row.

How in the ever loving frick does winning 11 three years in a row, when they had only won 10 one time in their entire history, qualify as "driving them into the ground"?

you are a dumb a-hole who doesn't have a clue. He gave the Gamecocks the best teams they ever had and left when he realized his age was a detriment to recruiting and left before it could hurt the upcoming class

This is true. He wasn’t man enough to stick it out. He cut and run when he started absorbing defeats and couldn’t hack it being on the other side of winning. Karma’s a bitch! He’s always been chicken shite. His “homespun”, folksy humor was really thinly disguised contempt for everyone else who he deemed beneath him.
