Spurrier will always be Spurrier but that doesn't change the fact that he drove South Carolina into the ground and once he realized how bad it was said "frick it, I'm out" mid season.

Spurrier is entertaining but he is ultimately a dirtbag. This is why people respect his mouth but don't respect his career.

How in the ever loving frick does winning 11 three years in a row, when they had only won 10 one time in their entire history, qualify as "driving them into the ground"?

This is true. He wasn’t man enough to stick it out. He cut and run when he started absorbing defeats and couldn’t hack it being on the other side of winning. Karma’s a bitch!
