Some for me as an LSU fan would be.

Auburn 2016 final td called back. That was the last game of Les miles head coach job at LSU. If their were just a second more on the clock, LSU wins and likely the greatest team of all time/ offense isn’t born.

Another mention... LSU BAMA in the NC game. If OSU takes care of business against Iowa St LSU prob defeats them in the title. And doesn’t run into bama. And that 2011 LSU IMO would be a top 5-10 team Of all time with all the top wins they had. Also that would tie LSU with Bama with titles I think these last 20 yrs.

“What if” Tua doesn’t get hurt.

“What if” Saban went to OT and not tried a last second FG. Bama probably wins the natty that year.

2012 SECCG - things go different at the end and Richt is probably HC at UGA at least several more years than he was.

What if Reed doesn't fumble inside the ten against Georgia in 2012

What if we don’t try a 57 yard field goal? What if Bo Scarborough doesn’t get hurt against Clemson (part 2)?

What if Grant Delpit doesnt chase down an auburn receiver in the first half and we hold them to a field goal.

Then what if stingily doesntt intercept on last drive of first half.

No 15-0 best team ever.

Auburn was truly our toughest opponent.

Yea I mean I was in Jordan-Hare and I don’t recall anybody objecting in any way to trying that field goal. Bo going down while he was absolutely dominating that game was out of anybody’s control and a total killer.

You go to a slightly better bowl? Not sure how that changes much for Auburn, that game wouldn’t have derailed what Alabama was building. Alabama probably wins it all that year regardless.

Meh I have no issue with trying that.

The percentage chances of making it have to be exponentially higher than Auburn running it back for a touchdown.

That’s a good one too. We were on the way to beat them and win another natty them Bo goes down, play calling went to shite and Clemson had a really good team

What if State had the odd year schedule in 2014?

Even years are tough for MSU. Road games at LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss. State's two losses in '14 were Alabama and Ole Miss. The only home game that could have been different was Auburn (State won by 15).

State probably gets at least one of those against Bama or Ole Miss if it were in Starkville and makes the first College Football Playoff.

Another one is what if Mullen would have stayed one more year at MSU. That 2018 team had a nasty defense that ended up #1 in the nation. Could not find a rhythm on offense. Had Mullen stayed on, offense would have been much better and State could have had another special season.

Bama wasn’t winning that game in OT. JH was lit/methed out.
