The season will be canceled. We can live for one season without football. We can't live with the virus out of control. I didn't see how we could play ball safely on the field or cheer from the stands and have said so in a couple of posts over the past few months.
Priority: Not to have 300,000 lives lost by Dec. 1st.

Edit: Subject heading taken from SI article that the Power 5 would be meeting this week to seriously discuss postponing football and/or canceling the season. Big Ten reportedly leading the way. I didn't make this up.

These kids will get it in school anyways. You really think they will social distance? You have to be ignorant as hell to think these guys arent out having fun.

Knowns:
Covid will still be here
They will have majority of players (non-draft eligle), Play two seasons with in 10-11 months.
Covid will be here fall of 2021

Do you really think CV-19 will be gone next year? Get a clue. It’s here to stay. It’s a very infectious coronavirus that has found a new source for reproduction, humans. You might as well wish away all the other coronaviruses that plague us with colds while you’re at it.
The idea of shutting down society while we wait for it to go away is self-defeating. It’s ludicrous to think that we can control such a contagious agent. We’ll have to learn to live with it just as we’ve had to live with other viruses that have entered society in the past.

Playing in spring means no fall football and you will see more guys opt out to protect themselves for the draft.

It’s happening whether or not you wear a mask or beat off at home by yourself. American and a great many believe 28-29 Million people have died from Covid. That’s how stupid people are, absolutely positively stupid. Covid is just another thing, grow up, cut the fans in half or quarter (not literally) or none at all, pump in noise, go.
