The rest of them could stand to lose some money if they sit out, football is a very "what have you done for me lately" kind of sport.

I think it depends heavily on how the season looks closer to go time. I think a lot of the players do want to play, but if things start looking like the season will be short or somehow gimped (aside from fan attendance), I think a lot of potential stars will want to opt out.

You don’t want to add noise if you already have a stellar career under your belt. Doesn’t matter if you’re an underclassmen of a senior.

This is basically the way players are treating their bowl games since the playoffs have arrived. If you can't do anything but hurt your draft stock why not opt out? Most of these top players made a business decision on the school they attend, and that was just a means to an end, which is the NFL.

I agree, it all depends on how many play.

The one receiver that opted out could get his arse punted out of the first round if everyone else plays.

No it will not. The hell with the B1G. The SEC does not need them to have a season. The season will come down to the SEC and ACC anyway.

The reason is football is over because of the democrat party and the division that their corruptness has caused

The players and Saban especially took the wrong sides

This will grow and not slow down
