Best radio/booth call that’s not well known outside your fanbase?

For Alabama I’d say it’s Verne in the 2005 Florida game, back when Alabama was for some reason actually a loud stadium.
He said a few things about what a Florida player did in the Kentucky game a few weeks prior I believe and then preceded to say “there are few truths in an uncertain world but here’s one...this AIN’T Kentucky.”
Alabama went on to beat Urban Meyer’s gators 31-3 in one of the loudest rammer jammers I think I’ve ever heard.
Always loved that one. He sucked overall as a game caller but he had some bangers in select matchups.

Lyn Rollins said that Joseph Addai was running like a wounded rhinoceros.

Another one was Jim Hawthorne in the 2007 LSU/Auburn game on LSU radio. Derry Beckwith got hurt for LSU and Hawthorne referred to him as Chase Pittman. A few things wrong with that. Beckwith was black, Pittman was white. Beckwith wore number 48, Pittman was 49. Also, Pittman had graduated the year before.

Not my team but one of the funniest I’ve ever heard of is Jack Cristina from Mississippi State awarding the “sonic drive of the game” to his drive home to Tupelo because the state offense was so bad that day.

That's another good. But, at least Hunt was on the team.

What about Rollins saying it was hotter than a gold watch in a North Baton Rouge pawn shop at a baseball game? He'd be fired in a heartbeat today for saying that.

Not college ball but this one always cracks me up.
Paul Allen call of Brett Favre interception vs Saints
And this one gives me chills
Pigs have flown hell has frozen over
Now back to college, I always liked this one cause I was puckered up listening to this game on the radio:
Jim Hawthorne call of Blake Dean winning double vs Rice in CWS

Rollins had a way with words. He’d be canceled immediately

Wow Hawthorne really did mess that one up. I think it was actually Kirston Pittman who was number 49 while Beckwith was 48 and Chase Pittman was white and number 94.

Yep. You're right. Even worse.

For Gamecocks it’s probably Georgia’s Larry Munson’s call of SC’s game winning touchdown as time expired in Athens in a game in 1993.
SC was on the 2 yard line with seconds to go and could score the go ahead touchdown. Munson is counting down the final seconds and saying “watch the clock, 18, 17.....”
SC tries a dive play but is stopped short and Munson pleads “”Lay down you guys. Lay down”, wanting the Georgia defense to lay on the ground and run out the clock.
Instead, the players line up as the clock approaches 2 seconds remaining and SC’s tailback dives over for game winning TD, and Munson says “he broke our hearts on the last play of the game”. Munson was the greatest!

Not a good one, but Mike Patrick's "What is Britney doing with her life" chat in the 2007 Alabama/UGA game .

The LSU football Spanish radio calls when the team scores on a big play or return are over the top and always fun to listen to.

Bob Fulton and Tommy Suggs were also awesome in calling that play. Suggs screaming at the top of his lungs after the TD and yelling "who cares" after we get a penalty for excessive celebration.
