Smart kid - made academic honor roll in 2019.
Had a lot of good games. 0.37 ppm (because he was a guy off the bench) and 6.0 ppg. Had a double-double against South Carolina last season. Averaged about 16 minutes a game.
Good kid from everything I've seen. Dunno why the transfer except to possibly be closer to home or worried that he'll be behind Alex Tchikou, the top 40 kid we just signed a few weeks ago.

He was just kind of "ok" at the things he was "good" at. I guess he can be an ok role player.

Solid player who didn't fit Oats' system.

He is a good player just doesn’t fit what Oats does. He can develop into an All-Conference player IMO

Well he’s not a welching pussy so he’s got that going for him

Fits much more in Howland's scheme. He showed signs of being a good player.

There are plenty of them at the beginning of basketball season. They disappear in November though.

I thought he got a lot better during the year. Really worked hard at his rebounding, he was awful early. But as stated not a great fit in the current system.

Javian Davis
Has simply excellent foot work in the post. Good finishing skills around the rim. Very skilled in that regard.
Not a jump out of the gym type athlete but good size. He was completely lost on defense positioning wise a lot but that's something he can improve on.
He seems like a good, smart kid but he was in Oats' doghouse a couple of times because of attitude.
He didn't really shoot a lot from the outside but he has good form and could improve to a consistent stretch perimeter shooter.
I'd be happy as a Miss St fan. I don't agree about the All-SEC potential but, if he buys in, could develop into a very solid SEC starter.
