This despite Kentucky’s superior recruiting over the past 2-3 years,

What the actual frick???

Avg team rankings since 2018:

Tennessee 14.3
Kentucky 32

It also doesn’t help that your best team ever got shitstomped by one of UT’s worst teams ever in 2018, and that you blew a double digit halftime lead last year.

We’ve sucked shite thru a straw for a decade now, and still Kentucky has never once signed a better class than us.

UK's struggles with UT is really bizarre. Like how Arkansas used to just own MSU even though neither was very good

Reality is just unfair like that sometimes. But look on the bright side, you will be able to look your grandkids in the eye one day and say you saw Kentucky beat Tennessee in football.

Oline - huge UT advantage
RB- UT advantage
WR- slight UT advantage
TE- Push
QB- slight UT advantage

DLine- advantage UT
LB- huge advantage UT
CB- huge advantage UT
S- push

Could be a special season for UK if they can finish ahead of SC for 4th in the East.

Kentucky’s OL is very good and our RBs suck sans Gray.

I like your optimism and hope we get a chance to see if the Cats can win in Knoxville.

I think it’s less optimism, more Titties being Titties.

There's no point in even addressing the rest of your list if you're too insecure to admit Tennessee maybe breaks even at best compared to our offensive line this season.

And yet I may be more taken aback by the defensive assessments.

Yeah, I’m not even touching that one given what we have coming back.

4 5* and a 6yr Sr all with at least a year in college. The next 2 in can play with little drop off. UKs Oline might be good but UTs should be elite.

I salute Big Blue Titties and his naive understanding of the UK/UT dynamic. Please stay away from the UK/UF relationship, mmkay?

I mean it’s not hard to pick anyone over Kentucky

We all know the history. And now there’s a chance the Cats will struggle to complete a forward pass. It’s not a reach to like their opponents

The Cats ran for 6.4 yards a rush last year. 6.4 yards. Per attempt. 6. Point. 4. They return 3 of PFF’s top 30 linemen. Only one other SEC school even has a lineman on the list. One school, one player. And that’s Bama. The Kentucky line already is elite. I don’t think many doubt the Vols’ o-line will be really good and maybe elite but there’s not a single offensive line in the country that would be described as having a “huge advantage” over the UK o-line. Not one. Take a look at PFF’s 7 highest returning offensive linemen in the SEC:

Darian Kinnard, UK - 89.2
Jamaree Salyer, UGA - 81.3
Trey Smith, UT - 78.6
Landon Young, UK - 78.3
Drake Jackson, UK - 78.0
Ben Cleveland, UGA - 77.4
Luke Fortner, UK - 77.0
Carson Green, A&M - 76.3
Trey Hill, UGA - 73.6

4 of the top 7. 4.

No team outside of the AFC and NFC has a “huge advantage“ at o-line over this squad.

UK ran a gimmick O last year and lost the guy that allowed them to do so. That gimmick allowed them to rack up big numbers in some games that skewed the stats but that was the peak for them. UT on the other hand played 2 freshman that are expected to get better and added a transfer that will make them better. So while UKs performance likely gets significantly worse UTs should improve.

I don't think anyone argues UT is currently last in the pecking order of the Big Six, but that doesn't mean you're beating them at Neyland this year.

Last of the Big Six is still >>>>> any of the little 8

Evidence of a shite football program's dumbass fans thinking that when they're somewhat good, they are allowed to think that they are better than the worst big6 that is rising.

This is what you get. It's like NC State fans finally thinking they are a good basketball program when they hired Gottfried.

TYPICAL.
