After leaving lsu ,is lsu the top program in college football?

They don't have the history of bama, but I'm talking since saban left lsu .if he never went to bama. We would have 5 I bet.

LSU probably doesn't win 5 titles with Les, but without Alabama's run to be compared to he doesn't go anywhere either. Hard to fire a coach winning a lot of games without a reason.

I mean are we forgetting Urban stays at Florida and Florida doesn't change much without competition from Alabama?

I mean maybe in the SEC, but it wouldn’t be by as wide a margin as Bama with Saban. And no I doubt we’d have 5 nc’s lol

Clemson likely never becomes what they are now.

Alabama dismantling clemson in the 2008 opener is a large factor in Tommy Bowden getting canned and Dabo being named the interim. Without Saban, Alabama may have never scheduled that game and Tommy Bowden possibly lasts a few more seasons at Clemson.
