This kid is much better than his 247/composite. He is the lowest rated OSU recruit and they have a ton of DB's and likely will take Derrick Davis. He hasn't decommitted yet but I think he will.

With their track record at CB, I'll take any of them that Ohio State has offered.

Alabama target de-commits from Ohio State

Devonta Smith has de-committed from Ohio State and reopened his recruitment on Thursday. The Cincinnati (Ohio) La Salle product has emerged as one of the Crimson Tide’s top cornerback targets in the 2021 cycle after UA offered Smith earlier this year.
"Just the fact I can be coached by one of the greatest DB coaches known to man, also it’s one of my dream schools so it’s a blessing to even be in this position," Smith told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong at the time of his offer.
The Ohio native was set to visit Tuscaloosa in late March, but had to cancel the visit due to the Coronavirus shutdown that resulted in an NCAA recruiting Dead Period. Smith has been to Tuscaloosa for a game before, however, and of note, is cousins with former Alabama star running back and NFL MVP Shaun Alexander.
