The Cincinati LaSalle star parted ways amicably with OSU as he was concerned with all of their DB recruits, and more to come. OSU said he should look around and keep all his options open.... he was the lowest rated OSU rtecruit but is still a great prospect who could develop in the future, just like Gareon Conley, denzel Ward, and Malik Hooker.

From reading other teams insider news. OSU has 7 DB's in the last 2 recruiting classes, and want to add (2) more, although it is not a necessity. Their has been a strong Jordan Hancock flip from Clemson and Derrick Davis jr. commit. I don't know, this is just insiders scoop and info, and it is not BS. Try reading other sites and getting educated.

I did see multiple sources saying it was a mutual breakup. I think Ohio State is going after a current Clemson DB commit that they value more.

Ha. From reading the OSU boards nobody knows but TWatts said he wasn't processed but who knows. I wouldn't bank on Hancock until he decommits.

He’s a take for OSU, Bama, and LSU. OSU didn’t process him and he could have stayed.

Yes, from what I have read Hancock has always been their #1 recruit, even more than Grimes. They say if they had got him on campus, or if they get him on campus now, it is a done deal... They are in constant contact with him. Of course flipping from Clemson IMO is almost impossible, but they say it is more than a possibility.

Yes, Oregon and Notre Dame are also in the picture. I'd take him....His film is really good. He is easily a mid 4* in my book.

Smith is higher than a mid 4* in Saban's book. In fact he's higher on Bama's DB board than #1-ranked 5* CB Tony Grimes. Oregon and Notre Dame, among others, want to be in the picture. Over a dozen programs, including several in the SEC, reached out to him when word came out that he was planning to decommit from OSU.

Yep the 247 guys really like him. Probably one of those guys who would've blew up if there were camps.
