You're deluded if you think it's not going to be called for. These people want to remove a Boston statue of Abe Lincoln in the name of BLM. They aren't smart and they have zero shame.

Except Ole Abe really did not believe in racial equality one bit. Read his actual words. He was a hardcore racist by today's standards. Did he hate Blacks? Hell no, but that does not matter. He would be considered "racisssss!"

I am shocked to this day that General William T Sherman founded LSU and the university doesn’t even acknowledge it. Welp. Well LSU didn’t acknowledge it as of a few years ago the last I checked on LSU’s website. Sherman and David Boyd were close friends too. I forget how much The South especially Georgia still despises Sherman as the #1 hated villain.
Maybe If LSU has to cancel the Fightin Tigers they can rename the mascot the Fightin Shermans.

People that keep on bringing up our mascots origins on a website read by thousands of people a day in this environment need to realize they’re literally asking these bitch made pussies to start a movement to get us to change our mascot. Keep on speaking it into existence if you want us to be the goddamn Swamp Chinchillas.

Wasn’t the War Eagle used by the Union against the Confederates?

Auburn is definitely on their radar. It’s arguably the best tradition in all of sports. we’re used to this type of crap with peta trying to take mike the tiger.
For the record, football is football I support all SEC teams preserving all traditions period. It’s what makes the SEC special. LEAVE US ALONE
They have us on our heels. What are we gonna do about it?

Old Abe is memorialized on the Wisconsin Memorial at Vicksburg, and on the Battle of Atlanta Cyclorama.
Old Abe is said to be the inspiration for the Case Corporation logo, as well as the 101st Airborne eagle head.
Auburn's War Eagle is a myth that has survived and is a great story, but there is no documented proof of it. The War Eagle cry really probably came about sometime in the mid 1900s. No one is really 100% sure, but most research places it then.

You can scream this bullshite til the cows come home
Honest Abe is known as an EMANCIPATOR, a person that wanted all men to be Free and enjoy the Freedoms granted in our Constitution, that is a full 180 degrees from the legacy of the monuments they you are defending
I do realize that Lincoln thought that the newly freed slaves would never be able to integrate themselves into American Society, and felt that segregation was best for all, despite all that Abe is nowhere as bad as the loser, racist confederates that you are trying to defend by making it seem, "that they are just like Lincoln", sorry dude History says otherwise

I know. It amazes me. How is that song racist? How ids the movie racist? Is it because it is a Civil War movie set in the south?
It's crazy. (In fairness I didn't even know the band played it after every game.) I really don't care so much about it except I hate it when people start doing extreme things and think it makes everything better. It doesn't erase history. We are probably the only country in the world that tries to erase their history.

They can take Gator Bait but if they come for the jizz jar they’ll have to pry it from TexasAg’s cold dead hand. Some traditions are worth fighting for.
