Jordan Rodgers is in. Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears are out.
The New York Post, citing sources, is reporting ESPN’s “SEC Nation” will have new look this upcoming college football season.
Rodgers, former Bachelor star, will team with SEC regular and former Florida Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. Laura Rutledge will return as well.
According to the report, ESPN auditioned former NFL and Alabama running back Shaun Alexander. ESPN also offered Ben Watson a position with the SEC Network job, and he turned it down.
Finebaum - who, along with Spears, made the decision to part ways with the show, per the report - will continue with his radio/TV show.
Spears is joining “NFL Live.”
The 31-year-old Rodgers, who played quarterback at Vanderbilt 2011-2012, has been with ESPN since 2016.

It was good knowing you, Marcus.

after finebaum's leftist rants this week, hopefully the finebaum show gets cancelled too.

Good. After his horseshite hot take about Gundy, I don’t want to see him. And since I don’t watch him on The Show of the Awkward Long Pause, I won’t have to.

There have been rumblings that one of the options Finebaum's management is mulling over after his ESPN contract is up is Spotify. It's been reported that Spotify has reached out to Finebaum about a deal. It would be similar to Bill Simmons' "The Ringer" podcast which Spotify paid $200 million for.
ESPN upped Finebaum's salary in the last negotiations, but doubt they could come close to what Spotify would offer him.
Spotify cited Finebaum's built-in audience which would likely follow him there. Which I'm sure ESPN would hate to lose, so would bet ESPN would counter with a tempting offer.

This is what you get when space aliens are allowed to breed with humans.

Don't know if you followed him prior to national exposure, but there's usually major drama with him every time his contract is up.

Finebaum's show went off the air on WJOX temporarily on January 21, 2013, when his contract with Cumulus and WJOX expired. The New Yorker reported he "had talks with ESPN and CBS, about joining their national radio networks, and with SiriusXM, about moving permanently to satellite."

Spears ripping on Finebaum was the best part of that show

Lol at anyone tuning in to the god damn Jordan Rodgers shown

Yeah, he pretty much has his choice of what he wants to do. All of them will make him richer, and in some cases much richer.
His last ESPN negotiation saw rumors of him going to FOX.
When he left JOX, he was already syndicated and was on satellite. But that brief period he was off the air when WJOX was his home station, was right before he jumped to ESPN.

If this is about his politics and not about his sports reporting, there are other boards for that.

Would still pay good money to see a late-90s Skinamax level soft core porn starting her and Alyssa Lang.

Finebaum is too boring for that show

Would take Pawwwwl and Spears over Jordan Rodgers any day of the week. The article says they decided to part ways with the show though not that they were ousted or fired. They were probably tired of the grind.

Guy with a Clemson logo who posted a stars and bars image to diss Flag Day really doesn't need to be trolling with his political agenda

does he ever talk about football.
he called for the OSU coach to be fired for wearing a OAN t-shirt.
OAN has criticized the violent elements of Black Lives Matter and therefore it is racist.
