My mistake. They’re 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police and 5 times more likely to experience use of force. Not sure this helps prove your point though.

Most cops are criminals with a badge.

Oh call me a sheep next. It’s what you all do when you have nothing else to add

I guess you don’t see a problem with media getting arrested for no reason or shot with pepper bullets for no reason too, eh?

Scared for their lives of the big bad cameras?

Get 5 of your friends and go try to stuff a full grown man into the back of an SUV.

Its not as easy as it sounds.

So the answer is kill the person then?

I saw a study once that blacks were also more likely to resist arrest just based on interviews with people on how they'd behave.

Blacks distrust police more than whites so they're less likely to comply thus they suffer more brutality and it starts the cycle again.

As I've said, I dont believe the officer intended to literally kill the man on the street live in front of rolling cameras.

You're trying to play the victim on something that isn't even real.

It is real. Amber Guyger broke into Botham Jean’s home and murdered him. If any non police officer did the same, they’d get more than 10 years and they definitely wouldn’t be getting paroled in 5. Pointing out facts isn’t playing the victim. Cops are rarely if ever held accountable and even when they are it’s just a slap on the wrist.

He was in a restricted area, wouldn't say it was for "no reason".

He didn't have a pre-meditation to kill him, no. That's why it's not first-degree murder.

But his actions certainly were the disregard for human life. He knew his actions could kill someone. Hence a third degree charge (could argue 2nd degree).

Then what was his intention for keeping his knee on a man for 2-3 minutes after he stopped moving and went unconscious?

What was he doing then?

You’re also ignoring the crime stats by race. Black men commit significantly more crime than any other demographic. Meaning they have far, far more interactions with cops. Now yes some of them can be attributed to unfairness in the justice system, but some of that is also because there is a higher prevalence of crime in their communities. Not entirely the cops fault in that case.

I believe there are plenty power hungry cops out there. Definitely some racist ones too. There’s a poster on the OT claiming to be a cop and supports segregated neighborhoods. Cops are somehow held to a lower standard than your average person when it comes to the law and morals. Too much militarization as well.

But cops have millions of interactions with black men on a yearly basis yet a few hundred of those interactions result in a death. Out of those few hundred, a large % featured a shootout between the cop and deceased. Cops killing an unarmed man is not as prevalent as you think.

He asked where to stand multiple times. He was told where to stand before and that’s where they were.

No mention of the other reporter getting shot with pepper bullets? The guy broke ranks to shoot directly at the camera

You are a fool with kindergarten logic. You arent debating anything, just keep repeating that the officers killed the dude because he was black, a claim for which you have zero evidence.

Looting wont fix racism. It will just make it worse. Who wants to live near people that will harm your property for the actions of people you dont know a thousand miles away?
