It is real. Amber Guyger broke into Botham Jean’s home and murdered him.

Yes, this is real.

If any non police officer did the same, they’d get more than 10 years.

This is something you've made up.

In your original post you claimed if YOU did those things. You literally made something up, then claimed to be a victim of it.

Cops are rarely if ever held accountable and even when they are it’s just a slap on the wrist.

Do you even know what the average sentence is or anything about the topic? I don't know what the average sentence is, but I do know the minimum sentence is 5 years and she got twice the minimum despite not having a criminal history(I'm assuming).

When the frick did I say looting would fix racism?

Don’t eat the purple crayons.

Why do you morons think Floyd is an isolated incident? You want it to be, but it’s not.

My mistake. They’re 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police and 5 times more likely to experience use of force. Not sure this helps prove your point though.

Sauce

Black people commit violent crime at rates much higher than whites. They relatively have more interaction with police than whites.

You want the real truth?

This country has been softening up since women's suffrage and we will end up just like Europe. Power has always seemed to migrate west and it it about to continue on until it has come full circle to the East again.

We don't have the balls to put down a violent demonstration the way it should be put down, with force.

Guess who does? Asian countries.

You cannot be a superpower if you are soft.

What point did you think I was trying to make?

Generally when ppl point out that more white ppl get killed it’s to act like it’s not a black issue, so there’s no discrimination. While the 2.5 number doesn’t prove discriminatory policing, its certainly a red flag. I will say the us vs them mentality police use is bad for everyone though. If they were ever held accountable then maybe less “bad apples” would become police.

It’s not as prevalent as you think given how many interactions cops have with black men on a daily basis

She’ll be eligible for parole in 5 years. I’d be willing to put up any amount of money saying she gets out on her first parole hearing.

Yes. me, as in any non Leo. LEO’s get to play by an entirely different set of rules. Youd think we’d hold those in power to greater standards rather than none at all.

This doesn’t really prove anything since systemic racism is a thing, but go off.

You stated that "Guyger broke in" but I always thought she just walked in, drunk, and assumed she was in her own apartment.

That would be something in line with this latest killing.

If her story was true, I'd think most people would've gotten a similar sentence.

This doesn’t really prove systemic racism (I realize it’s real) is a prevalent as you think.

If it was there there would an incident like (clearly unarmed and subdued man being murdered) this every month in multiple parts of the country given how millions of interactions there are on a yearly basis.

She’s wasn’t drunk, she just got off her shift. She claims she thought she was in her home, but leaves out the fact how she failed to realize all the furniture was different and why she shot an unarmed person. If you listen to her 911 call she’s more worried about losing her job than the person she just killed.

I must be mistaking her with someone else, I dont know a lot about that case but sad that the dude was chilling at home and got killed. I think I saw something similar awhile back where SWAT killed someone in the wrong house.
