He didn’t resist arrest and he ended up dying with a knee on his neck. I’ve never seen that happened to a white person. If you have, I’d love to see it

Tony Timpa

Restrained for 14 minutes while he pleaded with them. Meanwhile they joked about while he died.

I’m sure all five of them were terrified watching him be held down by his neck. Scared for their lives

They probably honestly didn't realize he was dying.

They watched him stop moving and lose consciousness... hell, the cop stayed on his neck for 3 minutes after they couldn’t find a pulse. Sure wish one of those good cops was around.

If there are five police officers for one guy, why did they have to hold him down by his neck? Why couldn’t they just put him in the car?

Because he kept intentionally falling down when they'd try to put him in.

If they wanted to kill him, why not do it in the car instead of on the street in front of cameras?

If I broke into an officers home and murdered them, do you think I’d only get 10 years?

How the frick am I supposed to know? I'm sure it would depend on the circumstances, your prior record and many other things.

You're trying to play the victim on something that isn't even real.

Again, its clear you have no idea what police officers deal with everyday.

That kind of behavior is very common.

Knee on neck is a new one to me though, its usually between the perpetrators shoulder blades which completely immobilizes them.

Killing blacks must be so tough. I can see why you’re sympathetic.

Ok... you realize the US is 73% white, right? Black ppl are 5 times more likely to be killed by the police than white ppl.

You suck at math.

Get 5 of your friends and go try to stuff a full grown man into the back of an SUV.

Its not as easy as it sounds.

And yet they still chose that job. If it’s too stressful for them or they can’t do their job without killing ppl then maybe they should find a new profession.

Sadly this is true. Cops kill unarmed citizens frequently and are rarely held accountable.

With what cops are paid and what they deal with, I'd say most only do the job because they want power or have some inferiority complex.

That said, I dont think a majority of cops are out to kill black people.

Its standard operating procedure to keep a person who has resisted arrest restrained.

Like I said, never saw the knee to the neck deal though.

The cop was being negligent and irresponsible and will pay the price for it.
