Will make less money in Athens next season than he did in Tuscaloosa. Different jobs? Yes. Interesting? Also yes.

45k less. Probably the delta between his new salary and bama retirement but I’m speculating.

It has to do with RSA for public employees.

Ah. He was forced out. Been looking for this.

Yes because he was totally being serious.

That’s how much he hated working for that angry midget Saban.

Sounds like UGA fans talking about Coley. Or LSU fans talking about Robinson.

Shyt is criminal with the way salaries are increasing in P5 CFB
4-5 yrs ago a ST Coordinator was lucky to make $125K at a P5 school, there were cases where the ST Coordinator was making $95 to $100K and now a ST Coordinator is getting $550K per year
Coaching salaries have gotten out of hand, it might be time for CFB & MBB players to sit down and boycott until a more fair distribution of the Revenues can be agreed upon
Before the usual crowd calls me crazy, most P5 Schools can't survive an interruption in Revenues with the way that the Welfare Sports bleed cash and lose money
At some point the nonsense has to stop, and $550K for a STs Coordinator is utter nonsense

Coley wasn’t forced out. However he would not have been OC.

That's ok. They stole Indiana's strength coach.

Based on the statements from Saban and Jeff Allen today...Cochran was forced out.
Posted on 3/3/20 at 5:18 pm to PatchStewart
Anything to get off the sinking ship.

From what I am gathering it sounds like Cochran's move to Georgia was more about getting an on the field coaching position than it was about money. This seems to confirm that
