Infant =/= fetus
The concern is her getting sick and running a high fever early in the pregnancy... Have multiple friends who had miscarriages that way... Just doing our due diligence to keep shite cleaner than ever. Other than that, not much to be done.
Fortunately, both our jobs have limited work travel severely.

This new virus is disproportionately killing the sick and elderly, as this is already being called the "Boomer Pox."
The "sick and elderly" in China have little or no health care available. That is not a valid statistic at this time.

The mortality rate is waaaaaaaaay off right now
This seems to be accurate. There are probably far more people infected than we know so the denominator is way understated. The mortality will be higher than flu in some populations but not Captain Trips by any measure. Kids seem relatively unaffected and it’s only deadly to older folks with preexisting health issues.
However, this will still be very disruptive due to the number of people that will get it and the publicity it will get. We’re basically quarantining people for something that isn’t that bad for healthy people. I would expect overreaction, schools closing and other measures for something that 50 yrs ago would’ve probably been considered a really bad flu season.

30,000 to 60,000 die every year in the US from the flu.

I live in crossville and work in cookeville. A few guys I work with lost homes and one lost his 13 yr old sister. Cookeville got hammered and it’s horrible. One thing I can say is the outpouring of support for these folks is amazing.

I hauled the skid steer up to East Nashville and helped in tree removal and was blown away by how much work was done by the end of the day. Had to turn Volunteers away.
By the time we left, every tree was off the roofs, tarps were on, debris was on the side of the road, and the robotic haulers had picked much of it up.
Looked like the tornadoes hit two weeks ago instead of two days ago.
