Who will be more successful in their first year, Leach or Kiffin? Personally, I think it will be a toss up determined by the egg bowl. What do y'all baws think?

Kiffin’s offense will be easier to implement than Leach’s with the respective rosters.

Lane Kiffin. He got some good pieces, and he gets the most out of his kids

Kiffin gives a shite, Leach does not.

Lane.

He has more talent that suits his strengths. And, he has a track record of maximizing the offensive talent available.

I think the Ole Miss run game and short passing game as another extension of that run game will be as formidable as any in the nation this year.

This is a good question.

I'm trying to give a crap about an answer.

Meh,no results.

Good luck to both.

Short term—-Leach. Long term—Lane. He recruits better.

That depends on how much talent is left from the teams that Moorhead squandered. If the cupboard is bare than I expect Lane to roll early in the series.

Of course, that having been said, never under estimate Ole Miss being able to piss away a chance at victory.

Both lose to Bama big. Other than that Lane had trouble this year getting recruits to come to kkk kapitol of north mississippi. He must find a way to reverse that or it will be really bad in oxford. Leach has a history of doing more with less. He relishes this role and if there was ever a more perfect place that Starkville for him, I wouldn't know what it would be.

We probably have a little more depth but I think Kiffin assembled a better overall coaching staff.

Leach will be more successful in his first year.

Costello will possibly be the leading passer in the SEC in 2020. State returns the 2019 leading SEC rusher in 2020, plus will have a senior-laden offensive line. The defense played a lot of freshmen in 2019 so should be better in 2020. State has more 4-stars on offense and a LOT more 4-star defenders than Leach ever had at WSU and TT.

OM lost their best DL and OL from 2019. They have really good RBs and receivers returning, so their offense should still be good. Just not as good as State's. State's defense will be better than OM's too.

Coaching? Both have good staffs. State's DC is young but did well last season. While OM's OC is really good, State's OC is Leach who has had #1 to top 10 NCAA offenses most of his years at WSU and TT. Plus nearly Leach's entire offensive staff came with him to State.

Leach is going to be a disaster in the SEC.

Who knows on Laine, if he does do well he probably won’t be at OM long.

Kiffin is working with more I think.

I also think he has a higher ceiling with his recruiting prowess.

Egg Bowl will be glorious for years to come though.

Short term, probably Kiffin, but Leach will certainly be more entertaining:-) The Pirate has built conference contenders in the least likely places at Lubbock & Pullman. At least Lubbock has an interstate. With a few good recruiting classes, both will cause problems in the SEC; maybe not a champ, but guarantee a few upsets.
