Move the SEC Headquarters

I've been saying this for a while now, but let's move the SEC headquarters to anywhere but Birmingham. Not exactly sure on where it should be moved, but I don't like the fact that all of the SEC's business is conducted in bama. I think this is a movement most of us can get behind.

LSU fan - witnesses team win the SEC in football and basketball over the last year; still bitches about the SEC being biased against them.

I think Atlanta would be the only other reasonable option.

Very innovative thought. I bet nobody else would ever think of that

I was thinking the same as well. I would like to see the SEC champ game be in a rotation like in Nashville one year or cowboys stadium the next.

Would someone, perhaps you, that thinks the SEC office being in Birmingham favors Alabama please explain 1985 to 2007, when Alabama sometimes failed to even qualify for a bowl game? Why didn't the SEC office being in B'ham help Alabama then.
I eagerly await an explanation.

Personally, I would prefer Atlanta.

If you don't agree with this you're just plain wrong.

Atlanta isn't a bad idea. Other than that, what other big city in the south isn't a shitehole or home to an SEC school?

REC won't allow it, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Plus, they have a special deal with the City of Birmingham where they lease the building for only $1 a year for a building that you'd normally pay $25,000 a month for. A 30,000 square foot space in an ideal area in downtown Birmingham.

Definitely! Maybe something like a billboard to help spread the word?
