There are gravesites in a cemetery in LaGrange, GA that need to get back to Virginia, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee and Kentucky.
The soldiers in said site died in "The Battle for Atlanta" and were shipped on the rails southward due to Sherman and his "march".
Their bodies rest in a very old Cemetery, and LaGrange would like to see these soldiers back home.
Some gravestones have a dying age of 15, 16, 17 an 18 year olds at the time.
Please contact the Troup County Historical Society for further information/documentation.

Why?

Clearly their family members weren't too concerned about it because those bodies are still there.
Let it go.
Let it go.

Troup County Historical Society is run by monkish local yokels with the aim to varnish over its true history. The TCHS preserves and promotes only the most agreeable, superficial and inaccurate history of its white citizens. Just ask the staff and they will tell you that during slavery the local slaves were all happy and loved their masters. The same goes for the textile workers who worked in appalling conditions. Of course TCHC funding depends on not understanding or expalining Troup County's true history. Du da, du da.

ONLY IF THEY ARE UNION SOLDIERS, which I doubt they are
Sounds like you're sympathizing with a bunch of treasonous, confederate azzholes that deserved death for rising up against the greatest country in the history of the world
The confederacy was an ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Why do you give a shyt what happened to ENEMIES of our Great Country that got what the fvck they deserved, which was death on the battlefield
IMO they should've found a Hog Farm and fed their cowardly, treasonous, racist azz corpses to the Hogs
What real AMERICAN that actually loves AMERICA, gives a shyt about what happens to the corpse of an ENEMY COMBATANT, and a TREASONOUS one at that
Sorry pal, you're all fvcked up in the head tryin to romanticize the cowardly, treasonous azzholes that made up the confederacy
Simple question:
Why don't you love AMERICA?
To waste any energy building confederate monuments or trying to romanticize the confederacy in any way is an ACT OF TREASON IMHO
Are you a real American or are you one that sympathizes with AMERICA'S ENEMIES?
Before I go how dare you call these treasonous azzholes soldiers, I'm glad they died on the battlefield, in fact I want all of AMERICA'S ENEMIES to die on the battlefield
WTF, I guess we got all types here in America, but I did think this was one site where I could expect real Americans that actually love AMERICA

Do you have a link?
I have 2 ancestors who fought in the War Between the States. One from Virginia and the other from France (Martinique to be precise).![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

There was a GeorgiaDawg that had a really good thread updated daily on I believe the OT board. I haven’t checked over there in awhile but he posted some good info.

I owe the deceased no respect or loyalty whatsoever, they did nothing for me or my ancestors.
Why the hell does LaGrange give a shite now? Let them Rest In Peace undisturbed in their watery graves.

Damnit, the United States never had a Civil War! It was the War Between the States, or the War of Northern Aggression.
However, we may have our first Civil War soon.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/shrug.gif)
