HALF of them won a Natty as LSU HC..
Two of them won it in just three years at the helm..one in year number four..
Of the 6 active Natty HCs, Three were/are LSU HCs, and two of the remaining three served as LSU OC and/or QB Coach on their climb up..Bama/Clem Dabo the lone wolf..even he wears purple & yells Go Tigers!
Miami of Ohio is the old school coaching cradle..LSU is new school.

Nice.
The 3 that won at LSU was 1 and done. No repeats, so far.
1 of the 3 that won a natty at LSU, has won more titles in the 10 years he's coached at Bama than LSU has won in their whole history.

Can we get a definitive ruling on whether this is the third or fourth season for Captain Coonass, coullions??
I've seen it argued both ways amongst the nutria raping faithful.

Say your prayers to the Blockbuster gods and thank them for Huizenga desperation..
Otherwise the midget stays in BR..and LSU goes Steelers/Canes "one for the thumb" plus more in a decade plus.

This sounds like Alabama fans claiming imaginary national championships.

Not at all. There are many amongst your shite arse fanbase that are saying you've had three coaches in a row who have won a Natty in their third year.
So which is it? Is it the third or fourth season with White Boots at the helm? Please decide for the sake of history.

It’s a cool stat regardless.
Bama fans will be insecure per usual but it is a unique stat. I consider Saban’s time here great like the others. Predictable Bama fan idiots (not all bc many are decent posters on here) will react to Saban at LSU like:

If you're counting HCs who were coordinators/ position coaches when their team won the NC wouldn't Gus count? He was our OC when we won in 2010

Jesus H man get a hobby or get laid. You are seriously arguing an old guy’s tenure with buzzed LSU fans high off a national championship.

And LSU fans hate two of the three.
Will be three of three in a matter of time.

You think LSU fans hate Les?
There is a difference between hating a guy and knowing the time is right to move on from him.
Analogy time... we didn’t poison the tree’s on his property because we were tired of losing

No, the six are the lone active Natty Winning HCs.
Gus, is an active HC that shoulda coulda woulda been in that Natty Title HC group but coughed it up at the wire to a crab finger QB and his loaded FSU NFL roster champs..Gus is an OC Natty Champ Coach.
Thus, he made Jimbo the 75M man, who was OC during Saban's first Natty, and shoulda coulda woulda won his 2nd OC Natty in 2006 but Les Miles is a hardhead who wouldn't let Jimbo do his thing with Jamarcus and Bowe and Byrd and Co..thus lost on the Plains and at Fla..just one of which gets LSU to Atl for a rematch with the Gators. Jimbo was quoted as saying this on Finebaum after leaving LSU.

Interim doesn't count. Especially inheriting a 2-2 squad on the fly off an in-season firing.
O didn't get a calendar year to set up coaching staff, recruit a class, a Spring to implement his Off & Def, calibrate his roster and organize his offseason training regimine via Moffitt, etc..

Thank you. Perhaps we can get a tRANT poll going to decide the issue.

Ok I misunderstood. You're counting coaches who've won a NC as HC. When I read that 2 of the 3 active HCs were OC at LSU when LSU won a natty it made it sound like you were counting both coaches who won one as HC and those who didn't win as HC, but were coordinators on a team that did which is why I asked about Gus.
