Every fan base is going to have bad apples. Those are usually the ones who get all the attention though. Most opposing team's fans at tailgates or games I have run into are decent people. Just have to ignore the idiots and enjoy the atmosphere.

I was all over the city with my family that entire weekend, all day Monday and was in the Dome early. If these horrific events happened they had to be by ninjas because the only thing I got was a lot of condescending conversations from Clemson fans that kept wanting to talk about their game with Bama last year.

Neither have you if this is the narrative you want to push. If you’re having issues at tailgates while visiting LSU, it is you that’s the problem.
Except for A&M, I enjoy every fan base that comes to visit.

When your biggest satisfaction comes from living vicariously through another fanbase's poor experience with one of your "rivals", it's time to reassess where you really stand.

With traffic and other issues at TS being what they are, we unfortunately have a larger amount of our uncouth fans show up at games as compared to other teams' home game experiences. 
Trust me though, most LSU fans are complete class. Hopefully with LSU being national champs, our good fans show up more than they have in the past.

Everybody in the SEC knows the drill. Walk down from the levee, get tiger baited laugh and say "Roll Tide" "War Eagle" "Go Gators" back and then get invited in for food and drink.
If you don't understand that whole dynamic, though, I'm sure it can be a little eye opening. As was said earlier, the rowdiest place in the ACC is probably Raleigh or Blacksburg, so.......by far their rowdiest trip is every 2 years to Columbia I'd guess.

LSU fans are great until about 30 minutes from kickoff. The alcohol kicks in and they become angry drunks. A lot of the women are nice though. Seems as if their LSU significant other beats them with a stick, forces them to eat river rat, and farts in their faces.

These dumb 2nd hand stories always crack me up. I spent the entire weekend in the Quarter. Clemson fans were all having a great time. No issues whatsoever.
I guess.... maybe one or two sensitive types got their feelings hurt when the Alumni Band started playing Neck and everyone was saying STTDB. lol
Then again....... when your team gets their asses handed to them, it makes a few fans feel better after the game to say the other fans were mean or something. lol

This term gets used every time issues with fan bases are discussed. Someone saying something to you as they walk past or from a few feet away is not getting your face. I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen someone go up to an opposing fan out of the blue and get next to their face and say something.
