The mind boggling thing is Brennan could throw 20 fewer TD’s than Burrow and that would be a great season offensively. Imo, it depends on the o-line as to how good the O can be next season.

It is an even year, so 9-3.

LSU won’t need to be the best team ever to win every year.

You mean the 20 or so meaningless snaps Brennan took this year has you convinced that we won’t miss a beat without Burrow?

Miles Brennan will make it his goal to break all the records Joe Burrow just set.

I think Brennan can sling it OK enough but the difference in Burrow and everyone else has been how well he reads defenses and adjusts to them. Also he moves in the pocket like he has sixth sense.

Brennan is way to nervous behind center right now to put up numbers like JB but if he settles in he could be pretty good.

We lose to either Bama or Florida.

Obviously not my choice, but if I had to put my 401K down on it, that would be where it would ride.

But, we've got business to take care of first.

We’re gonna lose a lot on that side of the ball. Not sure that we’ll be better than how we’ve played the last few games.

Have you seen the recruiting class? The front seven is actually getting upgrades. Ricks, Roy and Webb are future top 15 picks.

Agreed. Running game will be much more of the focus and should be pretty salty.

I see no reason for less than 10-2...maybe better

10-2 to 12-0

9-3 would be failure.

I have no idea.

Could go 15-0, could go 9-4. As Bama fans know all too well, a couple major injuries to key contributors can mean the difference between playing for a championship and playing in the Citrus Bowl.

The two tough games are Bama and Florida. I think LSU splits those and goes 11-1. Those are the two games on the schedule that concerns LSU fans

Brennan will challenge the second best statistical season for an LSU QB ever, and we will melt about it because of how spoiled Burrow made us this year.

I like to think defense will step up in a big way to offset the relative step-back on offense. UF, Bama, Auburn will be the biggest challenges next year. We'll be good enough to win all 3, doing it will be a different story. 10-2 to 12-0 is the range I'm thinking.

MB and a home game in DV will be enough to beat bama and take the west next season.
