160 yards and TD.
Ole Miss had some amazing talent, especially at WR in recent years.

Him and AJ brown on the same college team, yet nothing to show for it.

Absurd receiver talent and Taamu was solid.

Add Dawson Knox and Demarcus Lodge to that same team.

Solid against shitty teams. He was trash against SEC opponents

The guy is a beast.
Wonder why he lasted to the 2nd Rd?

DJ slipped down way to far in last year's draft. The guy is a receiving, mismatch beast.
I swear as far as evaluation goes some of these GM's don't watch college football.
They probably only judge the talent at the combine.

They probably watched last years LSU game when little old Greedy Williams shut his azz down and stayed in his head the whole game.

Now that they're playing for money I doubt Greasy Williams will ever shut him down again
Metcalf is looking like quite a player, especially with Russ Wilson as his QB

If that were the case with Metcalf, he would have been the first wide receiver taken without hesitation. His combine was ridiculous
4.33 40
40.5 vertical
27 reps on bench
134 broad jump
not to mention being built like a linebacker. He was about as freakish a combine participant as I've seen. He fell out of the first round because of his lack of production in college with those attributes not because they didn't watch him play. You're right, he absolutely should be a matchup nightmare for DBs, and his lack of production with those attributes at the college level probably scared some GMs away from taking him in the first. He was also hurt a lot in college which probably didn't help either.

In the Top half of the 1st round teams are more likely to draft the best player on the Board, and in the bottom half of Rnd1 they tend to draft for need, a lot of teams passed on Metcalf taking lesser players that represented positions of need for those Teams
For example my Falcons traded back into the last pick of Round1 and drafted an OT, not a LT , but a RT with a friggin bad heart that barely touched the field this yr

He had season ending neck surgery and a 3 cone drill time worse than Tom Brady.
