Classes start next week so I would assume he has the next two weeks to show up on campus. I'm not 100% sure when he absolutely has to be enrolled but I know it doesn't have to happen on the first day of classes

Hearing Evans may be leaning towards Florida at this minute. Gervon Dexter pushing him that way

He's going to Tennessee.

Seriously, every hour there is a new story. I see him and Gervon are pretty chummy in social media. Mullen would love to land this kid after UGA passing just to throw it in Smarts face. I think UF is probably worst atmosphere for him though. That program lacks discipline

Don't see anything on the Florida message boards about Evans at all.

I also wouldn't consider anything he posts on social media, he is best friends with Demas and he obviously chose Georgia over us.

How can Mullen “throw it in Smart’s face” when Kirby has already passed on the kid.

Your comment makes no sense.

That’s like saying USC passed on McCoy because they let him leave for Texas.

Does uga lose one of their 25 spots, even though they released the loi?

No because he never enrolled.

Likely by the end of the add/drop period.

At UGA, that is January 13. Not sure what that date is at aTm.

No longer the case. All players who sign an loi count. Only way he doesn't count is if Georgia never submitted it or they get some kind of waiver.

This is all confusing.

How can he enroll if he can't sign a LOI with anyone until February

He doesn’t need to sign a LOI

Just an update on what Georgias side is saying about this.

247 staff said that Evan's requested the release and that there is a lot of rumors out there that Georgia asked him to request that so they could mutually part ways, but there is no confirmation that anything like that happened. And that the only way Georgia could have prevented him from enrolling due to submitting his LOI would be to deny him admission to the University.

Nobody actually has to sign a LOI. IIRC, Roquan Smith committed to a west coast team on signing day, then found out his coach there had already agreed to go to the NFL. He then announced he would not go there or sign a LOI....he would just enroll at the school he decided on.

Pretty sure it was Roquan, though.
