Tua: Decision Announcement = Coming Back

Anyone else think the fact he even set an announcement date means he’s coming back?
The backlash he would face using an announcement date to declare for the draft would be absolutely insane.
There’s an interesting dynamic to setting an announcement date:
—everyone is debating it today. it’s definitely drawing a significant amount of attention during this down period. you can bet NFL teams are going to try to sway his decision and pull him into the draft.
—it gives his teammates a heads up 14 days before the official declaration deadline.
I still can’t see him drawing all of this attention to himself and NOT returning to Bama.

One of our insiders has said that he informed the coaches today that he is coming back next year.

Saban convinced him to come back for his farewell tour?

Him coming back will definitely provide a lot of storylines next year
-can he get fully healthy
- when will he be ready to play
- can he stay healthy
- what is his draft status compared to this year
Etc., etc
Sportswriters will have lots of material next year, that is for sure

Kind of wish he would hold off till the 13th to troll LSU

Are we just going to have this same thread about Tua everyday? He's coming back. Rival fans either don't care, pretend they don't care or pretend they are glad.
Sounds good - we'll see how things go this summer and can reconvene once fall practice starts. No need to have the same thread 5,678 times.

Stories are fine, but we're gonna have a
- Tua is coming back, why?
- I don't care!
- Saban made him cause he's the devil
- TUA IS GONNA BREAK ALL THE RECORDS YAL SCARED
- NUUH HES MADE OF GLASS HEL PROBABLY DIE ON THE FIELD FRICK BAMA
- LSU ABOUT TO GO BACK TO 2-10
It's like everyone one of these is from a script

I would have assumed this based on the reading of the tea leaves.
It makes zero sense to me. He's risking a lot.

Hope he is healthy and in crimson the day brennan puts a dagger in the bama dynasty.
Great kid, wish him nothing but success after he leaves.

no where in my post did I question his reason to come back, it was more about setting an announcement date pretty much seals his decision.

Remember Arden Key, and in their last year, he may come back, but he ain’t playing much.

Coming back is one thing. Being able to handle the grind of another SEC is a totally different animal. And if you think some SEC players won't be taking shots at him, you do not know the SEC.
