So enjoy the year but do not expect the same results next year

Oh. I am thoroughly enjoying the year and the momentum LSU has right now. Seeing all the Bama posts about "next year" and placing all of their hopes in the hands of one seriously injured player is just icing on the top.

Oh, and before all you medical experts begin chiming in.....Bo Jackson says hello.

Bama fans will tell you it's nothing like Bo's injury but here's the thing. It's exactly the same. So what made Bo's injury so different you ask? This is a comment from an expert who is also the Ram's team doctor:

quote:

"What can happen with the dislocation is that blood vessels will either tear or they'll be placed on stretch for so long that the bone itself will lose its blood supply and that will cause death of the bone," Banffy said. "If you get it reduced right away, the idea is that will minimize the risk. But this is still something that you have to watch and it might not even present itself for a couple of months, similar to the way it did with Bo Jackson."

It's why I've been saying they won't know anything about how Tua will be next year until late summer at best.

I'm actually surprised he hasn't. Would be a great PR move from a Bama standpoint but at least Tua's classy
