I literally got told by a BMW dealer (who I have been using for 2 years after we moved) to go back to the BMW dealership from 2.5 years ago to replace the an interior component that broke again

Speak to your elders with some respect.

You know...maybe it's you? I've had multiple things covered, and found that the less of an a-hole you are, the more you can cut through the red tape.
Yeah you got me--I bust in there yelling and screaming at everyone.
My point is that there shouldn't be any red tape--you buy the car brand new, something breaks, the dealership should fix it. Instead, they look for a reason not to or give you the "i'll need to run this by our manager"' bullshite.
Again, they're always making it seem like they're doing you a favor vs just providing the service you're paying for.

Every fricking time it s YEAH, IDK IF THE FACTORY WARRANTY WILL COVER THIS... Everyone knows damn well they will do anything to protect their margins and will look for reasons NOT to cover it. Bumper to bumper my arse.
And don t forget if you are under warranty, factory or extended, you ll still get fricked with the required bullshite maintenance that needs to happen at the dealership OR you run the risk of voiding it altogether.
The only nice part is having a loaner/not needing to coordinate transportation.
I swear the happiest I ve been is with an out of warranty lower mileage car--zero expectations and never dealt with a dealership. Kept a rolling funds for repairs.
I know it s a fairly universal sentiment, but what dealerships have actually fixed things without trying to make it seem like they were doing you a favor?

re: How is Best Buy still open and operating?

I shop at Best Buy for anything electronic over $100 because i don't trust stuff from Amazon/you run the risk of getting a bootleg product.
Best Buy's prices are reasonable. Their credit card gets you like 5% back, legit rewards.
The stores themselves are hit and miss, but you're better off asking ChatGPT to do research/comparisons on products, set-ups etc.
My only gripe with Best Buy is the return policy -- they're looking for reasons to either give you a partial refund or reject it altogether.
Meanwhile Amazon doesn't even open the box they don't give a flying frick lol

Well, I have SQ, and if you use the regular cycles, it will sometimes stop before your clothes are dry. You have to use the manual timer and temperature for it to guarantee to stay on.
I'm using the manual mode/settings with my LG and it'll still shut off early. Especially if it's a small load.

Just. Dry. My. fricking. Clothes.
If I set the timer to 30 mins, don't fricking stop 10 mins in because the "energy efficient dampness sensor" thinks the clothes are dry
And no I don't want to download an app to override this stupid feature
I wish bought a Speed Queen.
frick you LG.

Stacked squad every year. Crazy talent in this year's draft.
Comes up short every time other than a two-loss season that he stumbles into a national championship.
Great recruiter, terrible HC.
I hope he stays there for at least another decade.

Does McMahon know that tanking doesn't exist in college basketball?

seems like he's coaching for a better draft pick

damn impressive
Cignetti = CLUTCH TIMEOUT on that final drive
Posted by The Detroit Lions on 1/19/26 at 10:21 pm
Miami was moving the ball and had all of the momentum
Cig calls a timeout, refocuses his defense, then they get an interception
Absolute fantastic coaching.

Never developed a QB. He inherited and was carried by Big Ben.
The dumbass literally had George Pickens and couldn't coach him up or get him the ball
Prob ruined Najee Harris' career
His defenses have been good though

re: It's Pretty Obvious Lane Kiffin said NO to coaching beyond the UGA game

what other reason do you have for Golding saying "i'm not sure" over and over again?
It's Pretty Obvious Lane Kiffin said NO to coaching beyond the UGA game
Posted by The Detroit Lions on 1/3/26 at 5:45 pm
Kiffin keeps saying there's already a plan in place and Golding keeps saying he's unsure what will happen
If Kiffin had already agreed to let his coaches go beyond the UGA game, then Golding wouldn't sound like such a clueless moron--he say the assistants are staying.
Playing the "idk" game means you're hoping Kiffin/LSU change their mind

on two occasions, he refused to let his 4* qb throw a hail mary
1. decided to try some kick return bullshite
2. last play of the game as well

andddd bama fans still have to deal with DeBoring as their ball coach
Is Chambliss the best QB in CFB or does UGA's defense just suck?
Posted by The Detroit Lions on 1/1/26 at 11:00 pm
