I haven’t seen this much desperation from Saban to keep kids at bama.

What gives, it’s crazy to see after so much dominance over the last decade.

I do not think Saban is acting any different than normal. I think people see the loss to LSU and Auburn and are overreacting because that program has been so good for so long.

He only sues on behalf of Royalty so you're gonna have to find a different lawyer.

I mean, I see that AU next to your name and all, but even for y’all, this is a stretch.

So, in your opinion Saban’s not acting a little more desperate?

Scooby Carter has pretty entered the transfer portal 30 times now, guy has been a cancer, and even while in the transfer portal Saban welcomes him back. That’s not Saban, sorry.

Saban has never begged a player to return.
He only helps provide an honest evaluation of draft grade and what can occur either way.
I'd figure all coaches will do this

No. How is giving a kid an opportunity to come back if they change their mind desperate? This is one of those situations where your irrational hatred of all things Saban and Alabama is showing. If Saban has come out and said, “Scooby Carter has yanked us around long enough. We wish him all the luck in the world wherever he winds up, but he is not welcome back at Alabama,” you would have come here to post about what an a-hole Saban is and how he doesn’t care about his players. But since he didn’t do that and offered to let Carter back if he changed his mind, you post about how desperate he is. Since you are no doubt a highly-paid freelance consultant on the best way to manage large organizations and win the hearts and minds of those within them, how do you think he should have handled this situation?

What Bama had- a roster full of #1 classes with five star kids willing to ride the bench for a chance at the NFL- couldn't last.

If anything its kinda amazing he kept the top running as long as it did.

Someone needs to go back in the ranter archives and pull up all the threads caterwauling about juniors leaving early. Risking their future for LSU football sure didn't seem to be such an issue then.

actually, it's not only saban it's the whole alabama nation.

sure, we want more juniors to come back, but we are not hinging all our hopes and dreams on it.

alabama is entitled by now to win championships, and now it's 2 years in a row that they missed out. they are desperate to get the pieces of the puzzle back for next year. they are desperate to get the NC next year.

This is rich coming from a fanbase that threatens HS kids from Louisiana that doesn't commit to them.
