No excuses. Period. Go win the game.

Well apparently neither will Georgia

Dawgs are missing a lot of players but should still have enough 4-5 star talent to plug in and win. If Baylor wins, Baylor was just better and wanted it more. No excuses.

Neither did Minnesota

Baylor is undersized but quick.
They won't be able to handle the grind down in the 4th quarter

If Baylor wins it will be because of superior coaching, not superior talent. Kirby needs to earn some of that 7 mil a year salary tonight. We'll see

Plug and play is horse crap now because schemes are far more complicated. Football used to be a simple game. Either you were bigger and better or you weren’t. You’re not going to plug in young talent and out play Baylor. Baylor will unfortunately win and I’m afraid win big.

True but UGA might be down by 20 by then.

Looking over the players that will be out, roughly 15, Tyler Clarke is probably the most important, but there is depth at the d-line. We already know we are short handed with receivers, so plenty of time to prepare.
The biggest overall loss is on the offensive line, three guys is a lot to overcome.

Yep 3 IL out spells doom if you ask me. Not overcoming that. You’d be better off if your OL stayed in tact and Fromm was out.

UGA did play a lot of people this season. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Plugging in talent just means that guys who got 3-5 snaps a game will have to get 8-15 snaps instead. I don’t know if they will be successful, but that’s what will have to happen.

I’m with everyone else though, with our talent dwindled down to only twice as good as Baylor’s, better coaching by Baylor will probably be the difference.

Baylor wants to play in the Sugar Bowl. Key difference.

But they have more heart.

Last I heard GA had 17 out, may not be exact. If that's even close it is huge.

I tend to agree with you on that

I hate Georgia with an unending fire that smolders beneath lava...
But that is an adequate excuse to have that many players missing in a bowl after getting crushed vs. LSU. If they were to lose, it'd be understandable considering just how many people are missing.
Even when you recruit at their level, depth is hard to replace and manage after 15 players are missing.
This is also Baylor, it's not like it's Georgia Southern.
