They are better on defense than last year and you can count on the offense showing up and playing at an elite level like they have in past Natty’s.

Going to be a classic.

The whole reason Clemson won the game last night was because their defense made play after play in the redzone.

Wasn’t Oklahoma giving up 24 points a game?

Defense ultimately wins championships, true... Clemson's defense is good but if Olave runs his normal route at the end we would be playing an even better defense.

That’s what happens when you play Indiana and purdue and a jim Harbaugh led michigan team. Georgia had a better defense than Clemson and STILL got blown out by LSU.

21 points lost on an overturned called and 2 dropped endzone passes.

No they are not. Last year they had 3 upperclassmen on the dline that were 1st round draft picks. They brought a ton of pressure without having to blitz. Not the case this year. They made some adjustments and settled down last night after the first quarter and played well but they aren't as dominant as they were last year.

Burrow is a great QB with dynamic wide receivers but the real MVP of that team is his offensive line. Burrow has all day to throw on just about every down and as a result him and his receivers are good enough to destroy every defense they have faced. Last years Clemson d-line would cause them some problems but not this years.

Clemson's best shot is to win a shootout while getting some turnovers along the way.

Also OSU fans are salty AF they had to play Clemson instead of OU after beating 3 top 15 ranked teams in a row before the playoff

It’s time to accept that Clemson has a great program and football team regardless of playing in the ACC. Hate to admit it it, but it is what it is.

This should be a good game but Burrow plays at a level that I haven’t seen. The kid looks like a fricking machine. I don’t see them losing this game, but Venables is damn good at what he does.

Condolences to the Ensminger’s for their loss yesterday.

Clemson strengths plays right into LSU hands. They use a ton of blitz packages to get pressure and that plays into JB strength. That’s why I felt OSU would have have been a more difficult game because they can actually get a pass rush without blitzing

OSU turned 2 possessions on a targeting call and a roughing the punter. Those plays changed the game.

Also, Dobbins was destroying Clemson until he rolled his ankle. If he's healthy it's a blow out. OSU was the better team by far.

To Clemson's credit they hung in there and were able to pull it out and that's all that matters, but OSU beat OSU.

Ohio State had over 500 yards of offense and 28 first downs.

OSU shot themselves in the foot all night but they torched and embarrassed Clemson’s defense.

I don’t expect LSU offense flirting with 70 against Clemson.

But I’d argue that Auburn and Georgia have better defenses against superior competition. It’s like people refuse to admit that maybe, just maybe, LSU is just that damn good this year.
