Would we be in the CFP and not OU?

There is just absolutely no possible way to know that. And it's probably counterproductive to even ponder and debate such things.

Jalen doesn't play defense.
But the offense wouldn't be as explosive.

amen to that

not, not year long, but I think Jalen substituting for an injured Tua could have beaten Auburn. For that matter, I think Jalen substituting for an injured Tua could have beaten LSU. An injured Tua nearly came within 5 points of doing that.

Maybe Sark works his magic on him
But I’m not all that sure he’s a different player. He is just playing in a conference with much worse defenses

Mac Jones carved the Auburn D up. The first INT was bad but otherwise he looked good. You score 45 points you should win.

Tough to say. What isn't tough to say is that Jalen and the Sooners wouldn't make it out of the SEC West.

He also gifted them 14 points. Some mistakes do legitimately lose games.

Think we saw that with a good D ,, offense wasn’t the issue this year

That's what we do......yeah, we would easily be in the playoffs with Jalen.

You can’t say this when the offense(Mac) gave up 14 points. That’s no different than scoring 31 points in a game.

We go undefeated with Jalen coming in after Tua went down.

We would’ve beat Auburn. It wouldn’t have effected the LSU game since Tua played.
Why is this even a question? How would it have benefited Jalen to stay?

We would have lost 3 games
AU
LSU
Either TAMU or Ole Miss

Naw, because the game would come down to kicking and punting

Definitely not against Ole Miss. Hurts dominates shitty defenses of which Ole Miss has.

At this moment, is Jalen thinking I’d rather have played this game as a Bama backup than an OK starter?????

So 31 points isn’t enough to win? Against a shite offense and QB like Bo Nix? Granted, you probably need more against LSU but Auburn? They only scored more than 31 on Arkansas, Kent, Mississippi State, and Samford. And Alabama. That’s pathetic defensive company to be in.

Today was the Jalen we all came to know and loathe.
Sure, he pulled a rabbit out of his arse to beat Georgia. But we, once again, saw who he really is as a player today.
Disclaimer: I like the kid as a person alright.
I know the mouth breathing “Roll Jalen Roll” crowd will be descending on this post with sharpened pitchforks. But he’s no game changer.
