I really can’t fathom the ignorance by LSU fans shown this week. The bravado and arrogance I get but the sheer refusal to accept that good football can be and is being played at places other than LSU is baffling

Just put a tight end in the slot and run slants and you guys will be fine

Don't forget Moss and CEH out of the backfield as well.

I don't think UGA has the personnel to keep them out of the endzone drive after drive

Every drive? No, but UGA has better defensive personnel than anyone nationally with the possible exception of Ohio State, who has the best individual defensive player in the nation but likely worse overall depth.

You don’t think we have about 8-10 DBs that play every game. I think we have enough personnel,

They all know about (and bitch about/make fun of) Georgia recruiting so well the past 2-3 years, but then ignore that those players actually do exist and are on the team. It's cognitive dissonance.

False.

We've played 3 teams with defenses just as talented if not more

And who would those three teams be?

Stevenson has been the answer to that. Getting him on the field also adds an upgraded blitz option.

More importantly, who's got Jefferson?

Jefferson was the guy who had them last year.

No, you haven't.

Florida's personnel is average as grits outside of pass rushers and two overrated corners.

Alabama has massive issues in the front seven.

Auburn, while having an elite DL, does not have nearly UGA's depth or top end talent in the LB corp or DBs. UGA also has better depth up front overall.

Alabama was supposed to blow UGA out last year with all their weapons. The defense last year was considerably weaker both from a personnel and actual production standpoint. We lost obviously but still held up okay.

You mean like LSU did last year with not as many weapons?

3 CBs are Stokes, Daniel, and Campbell.
The first two didn't play against LSU last year. I'm not surprised that you are ignorant on our personnel.

The 3 nickel/dime defenders are Webb, Wilson, and Stevenson. The last two didn't play against LSU last year. I'm not surprised that you are ignorant on our personnel.

We have plenty of DB firepower underneath the safeties. You will be impressed because you dont see them coming (overconfidence from last season probably)

Yes,God help us all.We should just crawl up in a little ball and not show up and I thought Bama's fan base was this unbelievably cocky and arrogant.

So, I'm supposed to know your personel if 4 of the 6 didn't play against LSU last year? Sorry I'm not on coach O's shadow staff. I'm sure Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Moss, Edwards helaire will figure out who your guys are, that's what matters.

2 things.

I semi wish baker was still there bc how fun would it be to see burrow and chase duke it out with baker. That dude was lights out last year.

Second, do you think UGA will deploy similar defenses that steele tried against LSU with a bit of success? The 3 lineman, 1 linebacker, 7 dbs? Or Texas tried with no success (outside of a tipped at the LOS int in the first half) of 3 lineman and 8 dbs?

I'm not sure. I'm sure kirby will be frolicking around and spazzing out like a bitch with his dumbass hand motions though.

Maybe some, but UGA will mix and match personnel and looks more than Auburn did.

UGA's strength defensively is depth and diversity of talent, so they'll show as much of it as possible. We also generate pressure differently than Auburn. Three down lineman with a fourth rusher coming from somewhere else.
