To prevent Saban from hiring him to replace the inept moron currently pretending to be Alabama’s DC

It's a school with no football history, little in-state talent, surrounded by football powerhouses. You're taking the job to be fired. Just make sure you get a killer buyout if you sign up to coach there

Same reason LSU hired O after his OM flop and Bert flopped at Arky after winning at Wisconsin. Some coaches just work better certain places.

Because they thought he would improve. After his second year most the fans were hyping him up . Now they see what the rest of us were trying to tell them . Muschamp sucks and his only good year at USCe was only because of the East being horrible that year .

It’s South Carolina. They asked Saban and he said no.

I actually thought he’d do better at Carolina because he was more prepared to be a head coach. You could watch his opening press conference at Florida (swaying back and forth, nervous mannerisms) and tell he wasn’t ready. He was far more put together in his opener at South Carolina.

The same problems that plagued him at UF have followed him to USCe: inconsistent or plain bad QB play, injuries, and misfire hires on his staff.

Kirby was the first choice, Georgia made the now or never call with Richt.

We them pursued Dantonio, knowing he'd say no, but we had to ask.

Herman was next, he said no, he wanted Texas or nothing.

We looked at Fuente but apparently he had something that made us say no.

Stoops told Tanner to let Riley interview, but Tanner said he wanted someone with prior HC experience and that's when Muschamp and Rich Rod came about. Believe there was another name in there, maybe rooster knows who.

TL;DR: we have a shitty ad

He did a good job there his first 2 years. Problem is the same issues that killed him at UF still plague him now.
