I like him, Glen Schumann (UGA), and Ansley from Tenn. Staff. If we could get any one of those 3 I'd be ecstatic.

I can’t post on the Bama forum yet

Maybe if you didn't wait 7 1/2 years to make your first post, you'd have access.

I would be interested to see what he could do with that kind of defensive talent in the secondary. He is innovative with the front 7 but never had the back end talent to make it all come together.

I think with Saban as HC and Odom as DC there's a high probability of Bama's D being top 5 in short order. Odom is a great coach if the defense is his sole responsibility.

I think Odom and Strong should be the top targets for DC is Muschamp remains employed at USCe.

BTW, I live in MO, and there are plenty of mouth-breathing cousin frickers here too. I don’t know who Mizzou will ultimately get, but it will be after Arkansas, Ole Miss, and every other decent job takes first pick.

MO isn't a bad place to live. I live in the KC area and I really like the KC metro, there's a growing urban center in the downtown that's pretty hip.

I don't know shite about Odom except that Kirby says in interviews they are close personal friends, talk on the phone and he's one of the few people in the world he will call to bounce ideas off of, and vice versa, he says Odom is a defensive genius. And if you look at stats, its true.

Mizzou was dumb as frick to fire him. I kind of hope bama takes Lanning from UGA so UGA can get Odom.

Either way, Odom will end up in a better situation.

Mizzou was so fricking stupid to fire him.

Maybe. I think generally speaking it's not a good idea to hire ex players in high stakes collegiate coaching positions....the crash and burn probability is always in play.

I assume you live in a trailer park as is the custom of your fan base. Our state needs unskilled labor like every other state. Thanks for helping out.

Mizzou is a program traditionally happy with a .500 season and an Independence Bowl birth. Odom was cream of the crop for you guys

Yeah. Other than that whole running a program thing, Odom was awesome at his job.
